Erik Koch vs. Kyle Stewart

Round 1

Starting off the early prelims is a welterweight fight between a pair of 30-year-olds Koch (15-6, 4-5 UFC) and Stewart (11-2, 0-1 UFC). The referee overseeing the action for this card opener is Marc Goddard. The two touch gloves and Stewart throws a side kick. Stewart throws a few leg kicks, but Koch throws a head kick of his own. Stewart launches a head kick back at Koch but he whiffs. Koch charges in and lands a few shots before engaging in the clinch. The flexible Stewart throws a high knee with his back against the fence, and briefly reverses position. Koch tries a few body lock takedowns to no avail, and Stewart turns things around and tries for one of his own. Koch finally drags Stewart to the mat for a second, but Stewart pops right back up. The two break and Stewart throws a high head kick that soars over the head of Koch. Koch throws a kick of his own and lands on Stewart's body with an audible thud. The two clinch again, and after a little turning Koch breaks and lands a right hand that backs Stewart off. Both men land looping shots on one another, and Stewart flurries and presses forward into the clinch one more time. Koch turns Stewart around and lands a knee that gives Stewart brief pause. The round comes to a close in the clinch as the horn sounds.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Koch
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Koch
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Koch

Round 2

Stewart starts the round aggressive but Koch is the one that lands successfully, including two left kicks to the body to get the round going. Stewart lands an emphatic right hand that makes Koch briefly fall backwards into the cage. Koch is hurt but Stewart decides instead to press for a takedown, and Koch tries to wrap his arm around Stewart's neck for a guillotine. The choke is unsuccessful but Koch manages to get Stewart on his back for about 15 seconds. Back on their feet, the two men jockey for position until Koch trips Stewart and goes after Stewart's back. Stewart spins out to safety as they trade a few punches and knees in the grueling clinch position. Stewart drops down for a takedown but falls to his back, and Koch immediately follows him down into side control. Koch lands a few short elbows as he pursues the mount position, but he backs off and pursues Stewart's neck with a brabo choke. Stewart escapes but in doing so gives up his back for a moment. Stewart once again gets out of trouble, but Koch ends the round controlling in the clinch.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Koch
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Koch
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Koch

Round 3

Stewart starts the round with a few leg kicks, as Koch tries and lands a counter right hand. Stewart lands a few solid knees to the chin of Koch, who eats them. Koch then punches his way back into the clinch, and eventually lands a takedown. Stewart lands a few punches off of his back and gets back to his feet, and Stewart presses forward. Stewart throws another head kick that just missed, and then dives into a takedown. This is a brief mistake, as Koch circles around and takes Stewart's back as they press against the fence. Koch gets him down once more and takes side control. Koch attempts an arm-triangle choke, but the fence is in the way and he cannot quite secure it. Instead, he uses the submission attempt to take full mount. Stewart escapes back to half guard for a moment but Koch takes it back and tries for another choke. Stewart turns his back and with 30 seconds left Koch tries to secure a rear-naked choke. Unable to secure the choke, Koch opts to flatten Stewart out and lands some hard elbows as the final bell sounds.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Koch (30-27 Koch)

Gillian Robertson vs. Sarah Frota

Round 1

Headlining the early prelims is a women's flyweight matchup as Robertson (6-3, 3-1 UFC) and Frota (9-1, 0-1 UFC) are set to do battle. The referee is Kyle Cardinal. Robertson starts the round with a low kick and then a front kick, but Frota sits on the counter and backs off Robertson. Robertson rushes forward and lands a takedown. Frota throws her legs up as if to threaten with a triangle and lands some hammerfists and elbows from her back. Robertson is unable to mount any offense, as Frota controls the position from her back. Robertson finally breaks out and lands a couple shots while attempting to slide her knee past the guard of Frota. Robertson spins out for position but Frota counters with a leg lock attempt. Frota traps Robertson in an inverted triangle, and Robertson is stuck. Robertson barely manages to survive that attempt but ends up in the same position for a moment. Robertson gets out of danger, as she takes side control and lands a few elbows that cut the left eyebrow of Frota. The crowd is elated at the Canadian fighter reversing position and ending up on top, as Robertson lands some more shots and briefly tries to set up a kimura. The horn sounds with Robertson on top.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Robertson
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Robertson
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Robertson

Round 2

The second round starts with Robertson keeping her distance while throwing a few jabs and low kicks, but scores a takedown much to the delight of the crowd. In half guard, Robertson postures up and targets the cut on Frota's eyebrow, which is already bleeding again. Frota tries to push off the cage and sweep Robertson, but her greatest successes come from her hammerfists from her back which make Robertson take a moment to collect her thoughts. Robertson then takes side control, all while staving off submission setups from Frota. Frota tries to lock up an arm-triangle choke from her back, but Robertson defends it properly and takes the mount position. Robertson sits up and throws slashing elbows to Frota's forehead. Frota appears to be tiring as she eats more elbows from Robertson. Robertson's elbows cut Frota, and Robertson pours it on as she knows Frota is hurt. As she continues to rain down elbows, referee Kyle Cardinal is forced to call a stop to the fight. This is a big win for the Canadian, as she earns her first career knockout while becoming the first fighter to ever finish Frota.

The Official Result

Gillian Robertson def. Sarah Frota R2 4:13 via TKO (Elbows)

Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Alexandre Pantoja

Round 1

Kicking off the ESPN prelims is a pivotal flyweight contest between Figueiredo (15-1, 4-1 UFC) and Pantoja (21-3, 5-1 UFC), and referee Dan Miragliotta is the third man inside the Octagon. The two touch gloves and Pantoja throws a big right hand to start things off. Figueiredo stands with his left hand outstretched while preparing a huge right counter. Pantoja engages in a clinch for a moment before throwing a knee on the break. Figueiredo lands a perfectly timed takedown and tries to pass guard. Pantoja tries a submission attempt off his back and a few upkicks before standing up. Pantoja throws a thumping body kick and the two trade punches. Figueiredo lands a big right hand that stands Pantoja straight up for a moment. Figueiredo is loose and comfortable, and shuffles forward to land a body kick. As Pantoja throws a leg kick Figueiredo lands a strong counter right hand once again. Figueiredo cracks Pantoja with a one-two and causes Pantoja's nose to start bleeding. Pantoja manages to scramble and take Figueiredo's back as he tries to take the fight to the mat again. Figueiredo spins out and barely dodges a high kick from Pantoja. Again, Figueiredo scores with a big right hand. Pantoja presses forward and lands a head kick, and manages to score on Figueiredo. To end the round, Pantoja chases Figueiredo with a lengthy combination as the first round ends.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo

Round 2

The round begins with Pantoja briefly striking at distance before attempting a takedown, which is shucked off by Figueiredo. The "woo" birds are disappointingly in full effect at this stage in the fight as the two men stare at one another at distance. Pantoja tries for another takedown, and Figueiredo scrambles and gets to his feet again. Pantoja lands an elbow, and Figueiredo gets wild with a spinning wheel kick that does not find its target. Pantoja hits Figueiredo with a few leg kicks but eats a counter for his troubles. The two men trade heavy leather while neither lands flush. Figueiredo appears to have slowed his pace considerably, but he does duck a shot and grab the back of Pantoja briefly. Pantoja escapes and takes Figueiredo down for a moment, but the two get to their feet and press against the cage for a moment. Pantoja goads on Figueiredo as the two engaged again, throwing knees, elbows and looping shots. In one such exchange, Figueiredo drops Pantoja with 10 seconds left, and ends the round dramatically while landing punches on top.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo

Round 3

Although the crowd expressed their dissatisfaction in the second stanza, they are showing their support as the final round begins. The two men clinch up as Figueiredo throws a few elbows, while Pantoja lands knees of his own. Figueiredo unloads with several elbows as the two fight in the proverbial "phone booth." Pantoja falls to his back as Figueiredo continues to pour it on. Figueiredo then stands back to survey the scene as Pantoja has taken some serious damage to his face. Figueiredo presses forward to land a takedown, and falls into full mount. Pantoja scrambles and gets his opponent back to full guard and then to his feet again. Figueiredo continues to land step-in elbows that are slicing up Pantoja's face like an 80's slasher movie. Figueiredo showboats a little with a matador pose, but Pantoja leaps in and tags him for his taunt. Pantoja shoots in for another takedown, and continues to lunge forward trying to mount any significant offense. Figueiredo stands in front of Pantoja with his hands at his waist, preferring to rely on his head movement with less than 30 seconds left in the fight. Pantoja stings Figueiredo with a few right hands, but it is likely too little, too late as the final bell sounds.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo (30-27 Figueiredo)
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Figueiredo (30-27 Figueiredo)

Gavin Tucker vs. Sung Woo Choi

Round 1

Up next is a featherweight scrap between Canadian Tucker (10-1, 1-1 UFC) and South Korea's Choi (7-2, 0-1 UFC), with the latter making his North American debut. Marc Goddard returns once again to serve as the referee. The round begins with Choi attempting to utilize his reach with long kicks. Tucker fires back with some kicks but is well short of the target. Tucker pushes forward and lands a takedown. Choi scrambles and walks to the fence, but Tucker takes Choi's back. Choi manages to shake Tucker off of his back, and spins around with his back pressed against the cage. Tucker keeps the pressure on full, scoring a couple more short-lived takedowns. Choi gets tripped a few more times but stands back up time and time again. Tucker presses Choi on the cage as the "woo" birds start flying again. For a brief second, Choi manages to get Tucker down, but Tucker reverses the position. The two break apart with a minute left in the opening round, and Tucker loses focus for a moment as he talks to someone outside of the cage. The round comes to a close without a meaningful exchange on the feet towards the end.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Tucker
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Tucker
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Tucker

Round 2

The round begins with Choi throwing a body kick and some long hooks. Tucker ducks down and gets Choi down, but Choi bursts up and gets to his feet. Tucker gets his foe against the cage and successfully takes him down once again. Getting back to his feet, Choi lands a solid elbow on the break, and Tucker gives him a left hand right back. Seeing Choi set up a spin, Tucker times the takedown perfectly and gets Choi down. With Choi's knee down, Tucker lands an illegal knee to Choi's head. Referee Marc Goddard chides Tucker for his knee, and then deducts one point from Tucker. Choi comes out with a few knees and kicks. Choi may have landed an inadvertent groin strike, but Goddard did not see it so the fight continues. Tucker throws a head kick, which is blocked, and falls to his back. Tucker springs to his feet again and lands a few more kicks. The two clinch up briefly, and Choi chases Tucker down as the horn sounds.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 9-9
Ant Walker scores the round: 9-9
Ben Duffy scores the round: 9-9

Round 3

Choi starts the round with a few kicks, while Tucker tries to time a counter left hand. Tucker leans against Choi on the fence, but the two break apart. Choi picks up the pace with combinations, and Tucker is forced to grab Choi's knee and score an additional takedown. This cycle continues as Tucker takes Choi down, Choi stands back up and Tucker gets Choi back down again. Unexpectedly, Choi lands a takedown of his own, and vies for a submission but is unable to secure it. Tucker maintains his constant pressure, and ends up taking Choi's back. Tucker flattens Choi out, and takes the judges out of the equation, cinching up a rear-naked choke in the waning moments of the round. With the win, Tucker hands Choi the first submission loss of the South Korean's young career.

The Official Result

Gavin Tucker def. Sung Woo Choi R3 3:17 via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke)

Hakeem Dawodu vs. Yoshinori Horie

Round 1

Welterweights are set to square off next, as Dawodu (9-1-1, 2-1 UFC) welcomes Horie (8-1, 0-0 UFC) to the Octagon. The referee is Kyle Cardinal. As the round begins, the two men are very cautious as Horie shifts back and forth trying to find angles. Horie wings two wild punches that are nowhere near Dawodu. Horie lands a leg kick, but one minute in, there is not much action yet. Horie lands a right hand as the two close in, and Dawodu falls down for a second. Getting right back to his feet, Dawodu is mainly chasing Horie down, while Horie picks at Dawodu from the outside. Horie tags Dawodu, and Dawodu stumbles to the floor again. Although he gets to his feet, he has not landed a great deal this round. Horie rushes in for a takedown, and Dawodu cracks Horie with a body kick. Horie's lateral movement appears to be frustrating Dawodu, who lands a low kick and a punch as the round ends.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Horie
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Horie
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Horie

Round 2

Dawodu begins the round with a few kicks, but he remains content to chase Horie around the cage. Horie keeps circling away, staying away from any kicks that Dawodu may attempt. This continues as Horie stays on the outside. Dawodu gets his hands on Horie for a moment, landing an elbow and a few solid knees on the inside. Three minutes in, much of this round has been spent with Dawodu pressing forward trying to catch Horie. Dawodu lands a right hand and produces some immediate swelling on the face of Horie. Dawodu scores a left hand, while keeping Horie on his heels. Horie engages in a clinch but Dawodu takes advantage, landing another knee and just missing with a huge elbow. When they clinch again, Dawodu fires off another knee that sounds like it landed low, but the fight continues. The horn signals the end of the second round as Dawodu continues to follow Horie around the cage.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Dawodu
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Dawodu
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Dawodu

Round 3

The final round begins as the second round ended, with Dawodu pursuing Horie. Dawodu appears to be finding his range much more successfully, landing both effective kicks and punches on Horie. Dawodu lands two strong punches to the body to cause Horie to double over. Dawodu senses his foe might be hurt, and punishes Horie with knees and punches to the body against the fence. Dawodu scores a big elbow and head kick that briefly wobbles Horie. In close range, Dawodu lands a few elbows, but Horie successfully breaks away. As the two clinch up in the center of the cage, Dawodu lands another strong knee to the body. Dawodu's knees may be the most effective strikes of these exchanges, causing Horie to stumble. On the break, Dawodu throws a thunderous left head kick that plants Horie on his backside, and that's a wrap. Referee Kyle Cardinal may have stopped the contest a little early, but in doing so rescued Horie from any more damage by calling an end to the fight.

The Official Result

Hakeem Dawodu def. Yoshinori Horie R3 4:09 via TKO (Head Kick)

Viviane Araujo vs. Alexis Davis

Round 1

Serving as the headliner on the ESPN prelim portion of the card is a women's flyweight tilt between Araujo (7-1, 1-0 UFC) and Davis (19-9, 6-4 UFC). Yves Lavigne draws his first referee assignment for the evening. Araujo starts out the fight with major movement, and the opening exchanges mark up Davis' face. Araujo stumbles and Davis cannot take advantage of it. Araujo continues to peck at her opponent, and lands a fierce one-two that stuns Davis for a second. Davis throws a kick and Araujo catches it, landing Davis on her back. Electing not to jump into Davis' guard, Araujo throws a few leg kicks until Lavigne stands them up. Although Davis' face already shows some significant damage, she closes the distance and successfully lands a few punches of her own. Araujo tags Davis with a few stiff jabs, and Davis again tries to keep the fight at close range. Araujo ends the round by missing on a flying knee, and it is unclear if she can keep up this pace for ten more minutes.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Araujo
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Araujo
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Araujo

Round 2

Davis chases down Araujo and lands a few strikes, but Araujo successfully draws blood from Davis' nose. Araujo gets Davis to the ground, but Davis attempts to roll for a heel hook and ends up on top. Davis postures up in full guard and lands a few effective elbows and punches while on top. Davis works the body and head indiscriminately, and Araujo is unable to get off from her back while she eats some solid elbows. Araujo tries to sweep Davis, but Davis is wise to the move and cracks the Brazilian with a ferocious elbow as the bell sounds.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Davis
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Davis
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Davis

Round 3

The two women trade blows at the start of the final round, and Araujo starts off strong with a superwoman punch and some loud combinations. Davis walks through the damage but is wearing it on her face, as the blood continues to flow and swelling grows rapidly. Davis shoots for a takedown, but is stuffed by Araujo. Like the second round, Araujo has a very effective first two minutes but starts to slow down significantly. Araujo catches one of Davis' kicks, and Davis turns for a spinning back first. Davis pulls guard, and Araujo stands back up without wanting to get involved in a ground exchange. Lavigne stands them up again as the two women touch gloves with 90 seconds left in the bout. Davis clinches up with less than a minute to go, landing several short knees to the legs of Araujo. The final horn sounds and both women raise their arms after a tough fight, but it is entirely possible that Araujo handed Canadians their first loss of the evening.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Araujo (29-28 Araujo)
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Araujo (29-28 Araujo)
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Araujo (29-28 Araujo)

Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Krzysztof Jotko

Round 1

The UFC 240 pay-per-view main card opens with a middleweight clash between Barriault (11-2, 0-1 UFC) and Jotko (20-4, 7-4 UFC). Referee Herb Dean makes his first appearance of the night as he oversees this bout. Barriault starts off the contest with a few quick leg kicks. Jotko fires back with a body kick, which is blocked. Jotko clinches and shoots for a double leg takedown, but Barriault staves off the attempt. Barriault spins away from the fence and lands a knee, while trying to take dominant position. Jotko reverses position and tries for another takedown to no avail. After Jotko lands a few knees to Barriault's thigh, the two separate. Barriault pushes forward and lands a low calf kick followed by a body kick that is also blocked. Jotko shuffles towards his opponent and scores a few uppercuts before Barriault presses Jotko against the cage briefly. Barriault stings Jotko with an elbow and a knee against the fence, and throws a right hook and then a back fist with the same hand. Jotko gets the fight down to the ground for a moment before Barriault stands back up, and then Barriault picks Jotko up in the air and slams him down. In the scramble, Barriault loses control and Jotko gets free as the first round expires.

Sherdog Scores

Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Jotko

Round 2

Round 2 begins with Jotko missing with a head kick, as the two men feint and fake as Barriault tags Jotko once. With his back against the fence, Jotko lands a knee and a few short uppercuts to back Barriault away. Barriault again presses Jotko against the cage, and Barriault tries to land a knee for good measure. Jotko lands a knee and tries to go for a single leg takedown, but Barriault stuffs the try. In the clinch, Jotko lands a few knees and uppercuts and draws blood on the bridge of Barriault's nose. Jotko fires a right uppercut and lands, causing Barriault to crash forward and clinch again. In that position, Jotko and Barriault knee each other to the body until Jotko tries to take Barriault down once more. The crowd grows restless and Referee Herb Dean calls for the men to work in this grueling clinch position. Barriault ends the round with another emphatic takedown, but as the horn sounds Jotko winds up on top.

Sherdog Scores

Jay Pettry scores the round: 10-9 Jotko
Ant Walker scores the round: 10-9 Jotko
Ben Duffy scores the round: 10-9 Jotko

Round 3

Like the first two rounds, Jotko starts off with a kick. Jotko grabs Barriault and presses him against the cage, and only 30 seconds into the round and Dean is already calling for action. As Jotko tries for a takedown, Barriault defends it well and they separate. Jotko clinches with him and lands a knee, but not before Barriault scores one of his own. Jotko tries for a few more uppercuts as Barriault closes the distance. Jotko then lands a body kick, and shoots for a takedown one more time. Barriault shucks it off, and on the break lands a sharp elbow that cuts Jotko on the left eyebrow. Barriault proceeds to target that cut with another elbow in the clinch. Barriault ducks his head and throws looping shots that miss, but does score another leg kick. Two more elbows land for Barriault, who is pressing the action sensing he could be down on the scorecards. Jotko whiffs on a spinning strike but throws a head kick to keep Barriault at bay until he lands a takedown. The fight between two visibly tired middleweights concludes with Jotko on top.

Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Arman Tsarukyan

Round 1

Our next bout sees Canadian fan-favorite Aubin-Mercier (11-4, 7-4 UFC) take on Russian grappler Tsarukyan (13-2, 0-1 UFC) at lightweight, with Marc Goddard as the referee. The two touch gloves, and then paw at each other until Aubin-Mercier throws a leg kick. Tsarukyan drops down for a takedown, and grabs a hold of Aubin-Mercier's leg to try to get him down. Tsarukyan then catches one of Aubin-Mercier's kicks and tries to force another takedown. Aubin-Mercier pulls his leg out but ends up with his back against the fence. As they break, Aubin-Mercier throws a jab while Tsarukyan responds with an axe kick attempt. Aubin-Mercier steps in with a solid knee and catches Tsarukyan on the chin, but the Russian wears it well. Tsarukyan catches another kick of Aubin-Mercier and finally takes the Canadian to the canvas. Tsarukyan slowly tries to take the back of Aubin-Mercier, and drags Aubin-Mercier down. The crowd grows restless, possibly due to the lull in the action and possibly because their home country fighter is getting outgrappled. Tsarukyan lands a few knees to Aubin-Mercier's thighs, and then tries to take the back of Aubin-Mercier. The first round ends with Tsarukyan throwing a few elbows on the break as Aubin-Mercier stands back up.

Aubin-Mercier lands a few more kicks until Tsarukyan attempts to pursue Aubin-Mercier's leg again in a failed takedown attempt. While Aubin-Mercier throws another kick, Tsarukyan lands another counter. Tsarukyan unleashes a spinning back kick that misses, and he proceeds to chase Aubin-Mercier with distance strikes. With his back against the fence, it is Tsarukyan that is landing some effective clinch strikes. Aubin-Mercier tries for a trip but Tsarukyan lands on top in full guard. Tsarukyan peppers Aubin-Mercier with some light ground-and-pound, including short elbows and hammerfists. Tsarukyan stands up in his opponent's guard, and then opts to drop back down. Tsarukyan launches a pair of elbows that score, and Aubin-Mercier tries for some elbows off his back as well. Goddard cautions the fighters that they need to work or he will stand them up, so Tsarukyan postures up and throws some more punches. Aubin-Mercier briefly flirts with a triangle setup, but Tsarukyan is wise to it and escapes easily. The Canadian does the same with an arm-triangle again from his back, but Tsarukyan punishes him with a few more elbows as time ticks away. Remaining in guard, the two men exchange a few more elbows. The round and the fight end with Tsarukyan in control, much to the chagrin of the partisan crowd in attendance.

Geoff Neal vs. Niko Price

Round 1

A pair of American strikers collide at welterweight as Neal (11-2, 3-0 UFC) faces off against Price (13-1, 1 NC; 5-2, 1 NC UFC). Referee Dan Miragliotta oversees the action. The two feint and fake for the good part of the first 30 seconds until Price lands a body kick. Price then throws a low leg kick and a superman punch that falls short. Neal grabs Price and takes him down, immediately grasping Price's chin. Price stands up and the two press against the cage. Price separates by attempting a knee, and throws a few more kicks from both legs while Neal tries to jab. A stiff left hand catches Price in the face, and Neal pushes forward. The two clinch, and separate with a surprising head kick from Price. Suddenly, both men swing and drop each other, and Price recovers more quickly and enters Neal's guard. It could have been a clash of heads that hurt them both. Neal stands back up only to take Price to the ground. With 15 seconds left, Neal takes Price's back and then secures the mount. Neal ends the round in full mount after a few elbows. After the horn sounds, Neal helps Price back to his feet as the men go to their respective corners.

From the wild exchange, Price is cut on the bridge of his nose. Neal takes half guard briefly before Price regains full guard. Neal postures up and lands some powerful punches that bloody up Price and cause some serious damage. Neal drops down an elbow and some other vicious ground-and-pound. Neal unloads a flurry of punches and Miragliotta looks close to stopping this fight. As Neal pours it on, Miragliotta has no choice but to intervene. With the fight over, when they stand up, the two men embrace -- both thrilled they put on a great show in the cage. With his win, Neal pushes his UFC win streak to four in a row as he picks up his biggest victory inside the Octagon.
