Season 7 Welterweight Tournament Participants On Point at Bellator 74 Weigh-Ins




All eight Season 7 welterweight tournament participants came in on point at Thursday’s Bellator 74 weigh-ins.

Headliners Lyman Good and Jim Wallhead tipped the scales at 170.2 and 169.8 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, RusFighters Sport Club teammates Andrey Koreshkov (170.8) and Michail Tsarev (171) also hit their contracted weights ahead of their respective quarterfinal confrontations with Jordan Smith (169.8) and Tim Welch (170.4). Additionally, former Dream champion Marius Zaromskis came in at 170.8 pounds, rounding out the welterweight tournament field opposite Nordine Taleb (170.8).

Bellator 74 takes place Friday night at Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Prior to the main draw broadcast on MTV2, the event features promotional newcomer Casey Johnson (144.6) squaring off with onetime Bellator vet Will Martinez (144.6). Joining that bout on the Spike.com undercard stream will be a lightweight showdown pitting Derrick Kennington (154.2) against “Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 finalist Phillipe Nover (156).

Additionally, Brylan Van Artsdalen (145.4) will lock horns with Jay Haas (145.6) in a featherweight tilt, while Munah Holland (125.8) faces off with Michelle Ould (123.8) at flyweight. Kicking off the evening’s undercard, two-time featherweight tournament veteran Kenny Foster (135.8) debuts at bantamweight against Claudio Ledesma (134.8).
