Philip De Fries to Face Tomasz Narkun in Champion vs. Champion Bout at KSW 47

Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki heavyweight champion Philip De
Fries will put his belt on the line against reigning 205-pound
Narkun in the KSW 47 headliner.
The Polish promotion announced the matchup on Monday. KSW 47 takes
place at Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland on March 23 and will also see
popular strongman Mariusz
Pudzianowski square off against Olympic powerlifter Szymon
Kolecki in another featured contest.
De Fries went 2-0 in 2018, capturing heavyweight gold with a
first-round TKO of Michal Andryzak at KSW 43 before submitting
Bedorf at KSW 45 in his most recent appearance. The former UFC
competitor has won four consecutive fights overall.
Narkun, meanwhile, scored a pair of wins against Mamed
Khalidov last year, becoming the first man to defeat the former
middleweight champion under the KSW banner. The 29-year-old known
as “Giraffe” has won seven bouts in a row and sports a 16-2 career
