Henry Cejudo Cautions Urijah Faber ‘Be Careful What You Wish For’ After Post-Fight Callout
Urijah Faber’s spectacular comeback victory over Ricky Simon isn’t likely to be a one-off appearance. Instead, “The California Kid” is already eyeing the top of the mountain in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s bantamweight division.

Cejudo is coming off a third-round technical knockout triumph against Marlon Moraes to claim the vacant 135-pound belt at UFC 238. After that bout, the Olympic gold medalist targeted Faber as well as Cody Garbrandt and Dominick Cruz as potential opponents he would like to face.
Once “The Messenger” got word of Faber’s post-fight interview, he issued a reply to the Team Alpha Male founder via Twitter.
“Careful what you wish for my corn-rolled princess,” Cejudo wrote. “You could be the next legend to bend the knee to Triple C.”

If Faber and Cejudo were to matched, it is highly unlikely that the bout would take place in 2019. Cejudo underwent surgery on his shoulder to repair a rotator cuff injury, and recovery is expected to last at least four to five months.
