Felicia Spencer hit the ground running in her UFC debut, defeating Megan Anderson in a clinical performance Saturday, and her work did not go unnoticed.

After banking the first-round submission win over her fellow former Invicta FC featherweight champ, Spencer spoke with TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter and said she felt comfortable inside the Octagon in her debut.
“I was telling myself two or three minutes [into] the first round
‘I don’t want to rush anything,’ but I definitely feel at home
here,” she said. “I felt at home in the cage today and I feel like
I’m going to rise to every occasion. People maybe were doubting my
skills, but I belong here, too.”
The 28-year-old then added that she would be open to a future fight against the former UFC 145-pound champ Cristiane Justino, better known as “Cris Cyborg.”
“It would be an honor. Absolutely.”
It didn’t take long for the former “Cyborg” to respond via Twitter, suggesting that she would be willing to fight Spencer at UFC 240 in July, in Spencer’s home country of Canada, no less.

Cyborg’s last fight inside the Octagon was at UFC 232 in December, where she accounted for one half of the UFC’s first-ever “superfight” between two female champions. Justino lost to bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes by knockout in just 51 seconds that night, surrendering her featherweight belt.
