After a relative stalemate in regulation, Primus survived back control from Shields for two minutes in the first overtime round before choosing armbar position and eliciting a tapout from his opponent in 31 seconds.

In the evening’s official main event, decorated grappler Craig Jones needed overtime to dispatch former UFC, Bellator and Strikeforce competitor Vagner Rocha. Rocha resisted his opponent’s attempts at securing a leg lock in regulation, but Jones was able to submit the Brazilian with a rear-naked choke 37 seconds into the first overtime round. Jones was declared the victor when Rocha was unable to surpass the time during his turn.

In other featured action, Legacy Fighting Alliance veteran Gabriel Checco submitted Bellator talent Austin Vanderford with a rear-naked choke 1:02 into the second overtime round.
