Both Cub Swanson and James Vick could be out indefinitely following their bouts at UFC Fight Night 161 in Tampa, Fla., this past Saturday.

Swanson, who defeated Kron Gracie via unanimous decision in the evening’s featherweight co-main event, requires X-ray clearance to have his indefinite suspension lifted. Vick, who suffered an upkick KO defeat against Niko Price in his welterweight debut, needs neurological clearance before he can be cleared to compete. Mixedmartialarts.com released medical suspensions from the event.

UFC Fight Night 161 took place at Amalie Arena and saw Joanna Jedrzejczyk take a unanimous verdict over Michelle Waterson in the evening’s strawweight headliner. Jedrzejczyk initially feared that she broke her foot during the bout, but a doctor visit revealed that was not the case. The Polish fighter must provide medical clearance on both feet or face a 180-day layoff.

Four other fighters from the event are facing potential indefinite suspensions: Eryk Anders (needs CT scan clearance), Miguel Baeza (requires wrist X-ray clearance), Hector Aldana (require left leg clearance) and Andrew Sanchez (requires right leg clearance).
