Don't mess with Texas. UFC flyweight Andrea Lee's husband Donny Aaron has been arrested in Texas after a nine-month search.

First reported by MMAJunkie.com on Friday, Aaron was stopped by police while speeding in Upshur County, Texas. An arrest warrant was issued nine months prior in Shreveport, Louisiana, following charges of domestic violence and false imprisonment.

Shreveport Police Department officer Christina Curtis stated that Aaron was arrested in Texas one week ago for a traffic violation, where he was allegedly speeding in a school zone. After searching him, it was discovered he had an unlawful amount of marijuana in his possession. He was extradited to Louisiana, where he was charged with failure to appear in court as well as domestic battery. According to ESPN, Aaron was released on a $1,700 bond that day.

In August, Aaron reportedly attacked Lee in their home, where she suffered minor injuries after he allegedly attempted to choke her and burn her with his cigarette. Lee and Aaron's roommate, atomweight Andy Nguyen, made a lengthy statement describing what she witnessed that night.

Aaron was found guilty of negligent homicide in 2009 after shooting an unarmed African American man outside his home. He also drew public ire after Lee posted pictures of their family outing, where multiple Nazi tattoos on Aaron's body were visible. Lee briefly defending her husband and his justification for not having the tattoos removed, but shortly thereafter he apologized on social media.
