UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Glover Teixeira-Ovince St. Preux Headliner Made Official

Ovince St. Preux finds his path to the top of the Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight division blocked by a rugged Brazilian brute with a long track record of success.

St. Preux clocked in at 206 pounds ahead of his five-round battle with Glover Teixeira (205.5) in the UFC Fight Night “Teixeira vs. St. Preux” main event on Saturday at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. Lightweight co-headliners Michael Johnson (155.5) and Beneil Dariush (156) also hit their intended marks at Friday’s official weigh-in.

UFC Fight Night “Teixeira vs. St. Preux” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT -- will also feature a middleweight clash pairing former Maximum Fighting Championship titleholder Sam Alvey (186) with Derek Brunson (186), a heavyweight tilt pitting Team Takedown’s Jared Rosholt (237) against Timothy Johnson (265), a women’s bantamweight affair matching 2004 Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann (136.5) with Amanda Nunes (136) and a flyweight scrap slotting blue-chip prospect Ray Borg (*126.75) against the unbeaten Geane Herrera (126).

Two hours prior, Fox Sports 2 will carry four preliminary bouts: Uriah Hall (185.5) vs. Oluwale Bamgbose (184.5), Chris Camozzi (185.5) vs. Tom Watson (185), Dustin Ortiz (125.5) vs. Willie Gates (126) and Frankie Saenz (136) vs. Sirwan Kakai (136). The three remain undercard matchups will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, as Chris Dempsey (204.5) meets Jonathan Wilson (205), Marlon Vera (135.5) faces Roman Salazar (135) and Scott Holtzman (155.5) confronts Anthony Christodoulou (156).
