UFC Fight Night 213 Weigh-in Results: Main Event Set; 1 Fighter Heavy

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns this week to the UFC Apex with an intriguing featherweight clash between two entertaining contenders.

The five-round main event between Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen is now official after both weighed in under the featherweight limit. Nearly all fighters on the 11-bout lineup managed to make weight, besides one short-notice replacement competitor. Joshua Weems, who stepped up on late notice to make his promotional debut, clocked in 3.5 pounds over the bantamweight limit to receive a fine of his fight purse.

This marks the fifth straight main event for Kattar (23-6), who has become quite accustomed to going five rounds. "The Boston Finisher" hasn't lived up to his nickname in these appearances, though, as all four went the distance. Kattar is looking to bounce back from a split-decision setback to Josh Emmett, and officially weighed 146 pounds on the dot.

Meanwhile, this is the first UFC headlining spot for Britain's Allen (18-1), who is undefeated inside the Octagon. The English fighter is riding an impressive 11-fight win streak, with nine of those wins coming under the UFC banner. Most recently, "Almighty" knocked out Dan Hooker, and before that, he claimed a three-round decision over Sodiq Yusuff to solidify himself as a featherweight contender. Allen stepped on the scale weighing 145.5 for the biggest fight of his career.

UFC Fight Night 213 will stream in its entirety on ESPN+ on Saturday. Prelims begin at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, while the main card kicks off at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
