UFC Fight Night 202 Medical Suspensions: Priscila Cachoeira Facing 6 Months After Slugfest

Priscila Cachoeira may have emerged from UFC Fight Night 202 with a controversial decision triumph over Ji Yeon Kim, but the slugfest did take a toll on her body.

Cachoeira must have a right nasomaxillary suture fracture and a metacarpal base fracture cleared by doctors or she will be sidelined until Aug. 26. At a minimum, the Brazilian is suspended until Apri l13 with no contact until March 29. Kim, meanwhile, is suspended until April 13 with no contact until March 29 for laceration repair. The Nevada State Athletic Commission recently released a full list of medical suspensions from the event to mixedmartialarts.com.

UFC Fight Night 202 took place this past Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and saw Islam Makhachev defeat short-notice foe Bobby Green via first-round TKO in the evening’s catchweight headliner. Green is suspended until March 29 with no contact until March 20, while Makhachev emerged with a clean bill of health.

Four other fighters from UFC Fight Night 202 are also facing potential six-month terms pending medical clearance: Armen Petrosyan (left foot), Ramona Pascaul (nasal fracture), Jonathan Martinez (left foot), and Carlos Hernandez (left knee).

Armen Petrosyan: Must have left foot X-ray, if positive must have Orthopedic clearance or no contest until Aug. 26; minimum suspension of no contest until April 13, no contact until March 29.

Gregory Rodrigues: Must have lacerations on right face and left leg cleared by doctor or no contest until April 13, no contact until March 29.

Zhu Rong: Suspended until April 13 with no contact until March 29

Josiane Nunes: Suspended until March 13 with contact until March 6.

Ramona Pascual: Must have bilateral nasal bone fracture cleared by ENT, OMF or ophthalmologist or no contest until Aug. 26; minimum suspension of no contest until March 29 with no contact until March 20

Jonathan Martinez: Must have left foot X-ray, if positive must have orthopedic clearance or no contest until Aug. 26; minimum suspension of no contest until March 29 with no contact until March 22.

Alejandro Perez: Suspended until March 29 with no contact until March 20.

Carlos Hernandez: Must have left knee MRI, if positive must have orthopedic clearance or no contest until Aug. 26; minimum suspension of no contest until March 29, no contact until March 20

Victor Altamirano: Suspended until March 29, with no contact until March 20.
