UFC Fight Night 106 Update: Rony ‘Jason’ to Face Jeremy Kennedy in Brazil

A featherweight tilt pitting Rony Mariano Bezerra against Jeremy Kennedy has been added to the UFC Fight Night 106 lineup.

Promotion officials announced the pairing on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 106 takes place at the Centro de Formação Olímpica de Fortaleza in Fortaleza, Brazil, on March 11 and is headlined by a middleweight showdown between Vitor Belfort and Kelvin Gastelum. The evening’s main card will air on Fox Sports 1.

Rony “Jason” is winless in his last three outings. Most recently, the Brazilian suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Dennis Bermudez at UFC Fight Night 92 on Aug. 6. Bezerra’s last Octagon triumph came against Steven Siler in March 2014.

Kennedy improved to 9-0 in his promotional debut, as he outpointed Alessandro Ricci at UFC on Fox 21. The 24-year-old Canadian has finished three of his triumphs by KO/TKO and two via submission.
