UFC 217 Weigh-in Results: All Participants in Title Tripleheader Given Green Light
Michael Bisping wants no part of a Georges St. Pierre fairytale comeback.
Bisping tipped the scales at 184.6 pounds, as he prepares to defend his Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight title against the returning St. Pierre (184.4) in the UFC 217 main event this Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York. The participants in the two other championship bouts -- Cody Garbrandt (135) vs. T.J. Dillashaw (134.8) and Joanna Jedrzejczyk (115) vs. Rose Namajunas (114) -- also made weight without incident at Friday’s official weigh-in.
UFC 217 “Bisping vs. St. Pierre,” which airs live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, also features a welterweight clash pitting American Top Team’s Jorge Masvidal (171) against Stephen Thompson (170.4) and a middleweight affair pairing Johny Hendricks (185.8) with undefeated former Jungle Fight champion Paulo Henrique Costa (185.8).
