Titan FC 34 Weigh-in Results: Healy, Edwards Both on Weight
Saturday’s main event between Pat Healy and
Marcus
Edwards was made official as both combatants cleared the
lightweight limit at Friday’s weigh-ins. Titan
FC 34, which will be held inside the Scottish Rite Temple in
Kansas City, Mo., is anchored by the battle, which is for Healy’s
lightweight title. The entire event will be streamed live on UFC
Fight Pass on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Healy, set to defend his Titan FC belt for the first time since winning it via decision over Kurt Kinser at Titan 33, easily made the 155-pound limit; he weighted in at 154.6 pounds. Edwards, a late replacement for Canadian fighter Mike Ricci, tipped the scale at 154.3 pounds, locking in the duel for good.
The co-featured bout pits Kurt Holobaugh and Andre Harrison against one another for the Titan FC featherweight title. Holobaugh, who will defend his title for the first time, came in at a cool 144.7 pounds. His challenger was five ounces lighter.
The fight for the Titan FC bantamweight strap between Brett Johns and Anthony Gutierrez is currently under some controversy.
