Chiesa, who won Season 15 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” made a
successful welterweight debut at UFC 232, where he submitted former
interim champion Carlos
Condit with a kimura 56 seconds into the second round of their
bout. Prior to that, “Maverick” had dropped back-to-back contests
at the hands of Anthony
Pettis and Kevin Lee at
A winner on the inaugural season of “TUF,” Sanchez has experienced
a small resurgence of late. After losing three of four bouts — all
via KO or TKO — from July 2016 to November 2017, the Jackson-Wink
MMA stalwart has posted back-to-back triumphs over Craig White
and Mickey Gall
in his last two Octagon appearances.
