A whopping 12 fights have been booked for the live Jan. 28 One Championship show.
The organization announced the headliner of its “Only the Brave” event on Jan. 28 on Monday, and the remainder of the fight card was filled out by One Championship on Friday. Officially capping off the event will be an interim heavyweight championship clash between Anatoliy Malykhin and Kirill Grishenko, as One is reportedly encountering contract issues with heavyweight king Arjan Singh Bhullar.

The co-main attraction will see Jae Woong Kim (12-5) come to blows with Kai Tang (13-2) at One’s featherweight division (155 pounds). Both are ranked within the top five of One’s rankings, and they will be meeting on win streaks. Known as “The Fighting God,” Kim dispatched Tetsuya Yamada at the end of 2020 and Martin Nguyen in September coming into this pairing. China’s Tang has seen his last eight outings go his way, including six by knockout within two rounds.
With the quarterfinals of One’s featherweight kickboxing grand prix out of the way, the semifinals as well as an alternate will be placed on this showcase. Jo Nattawut and Dovydas Rimkus will square off on the prelims in hopes of serving as an alternate should something go awry in the tournament. The semifinals themselves consist of Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong vs. Davit Kiria, and Marat Grigorian vs. Chingiz Allazov.
