If you wanted violence, the pre-recorded second-part of the One Championship: Unbreakable series delivered in spades.

The One: Unbreakable 2 main event saw former Cage Warriors Fighting Championship titleholder Mauro Cerilli welcome promotional newcomer Abdulbasir Vagabov in a heavyweight clash. The Italian fighter took his time in the early stage, waiting for Vagabov to rush forward carelessly. Vagabov attempted to drag the action on the canvas, but the Italian had no problems stopping his opponent’s attempts. After a brief pause due to an eye-poke from the Russian, Cerilli caught the “Dagestan Machine” with a knee from the clinch before ending the first stanza with a series of punches. At the waning seconds, Cerilli sprang back to his feet from a quick takedown to not end the round on his back.

Seconds into the second frame, Cerilli landed a left hand and a crushing leg kick on Vagabov, with the follow-up right hand putting Vagabov down to the canvas. Knowing the finish was right in front of him, “The Hammer” hammered his foe with a few follow-up shots to force a referee stoppage. The official time marked 36 seconds into Round 2, successfully awarding Cerilli the rebound victory off of his first career decision loss.

In the co-main event, Daichi Takenaka submitted Ivanildo Silva Delfino after repeated choke attempts throughout their One flyweight match. Delfino started the fight by catching Takenaka’s kick and pushing his opponent against the fence. After the Japanese fighter reversed position, he had no trouble taking down Delfino with a well-executed trip. Takenaka dominated the Brazilian from the top position before catching him in the crucifix position, but Delfino escaped from the sticky situation and ultimately concluded Round 1 flat against the cage floor.

Like the first round, the second round saw similar domination on the canvas from Takenaka, who took Delfino’s back with ease as he hunted for a rear-naked choke. The Brazilian fighter defended as well as he could to ride out the round. Even though Takenaka squeezed hard, “Mostrinho” refused to tap. In the first seconds of the third stanza, the fighter from Japan landed a high kick and pushed Delfino against the wire from where he took his opponent’s back. After gently relocating Delfino to the mat, the umpteenth rear-naked choke attempted turned out to be successful as the Brazilian fighter finally tapped out. Takenaka took home his latest victory 2:55 minutes into the third round.

Earlier on the card, Kwon Won Il engaged in a barnburner of a brawl with Rui Chen in One’s bantamweight division. As the two continued to trade, “Pretty Boy” folded Chen in half with a body shot 31 seconds into the third stanza.

Elsewhere, Beybulat Isaev scored a highlight-reel KO with a consciousness-stripping right hand that put Mihajlo Kecojevic out just 82 seconds into the fight in their kickboxing clash; Sovannahry Em smashed Jung Yoon Choi, putting on a clinic of ground-and-pound to take home the second-round win at 2:51 of their catchweight affair.

The event opened with a highly anticipated heavyweight tilt, and it did not disappoint. In his One debut, the fighter known as “Reug Reug“ Oumar Kane demolished Alain Ngalani after landing one singular, effective takedown. A series of brutally heavy punches in top position forced referee Olivier Coste to halt the match at 4:32 of Round 1, thereby adding to the highlight package of the powerful “Reug Reug.”
