LFA 72 Weigh-in Results: Two Fighters Miss Weight

The Legacy Fighting Alliance is headed to Arizona for LFA 72, where one of the headliners missed weight.

In the main event, Daniel Madrid (185.2) prepares to take on Chris Harris (186.8)*. "Demigod" is currently on a two-fight winning streak, while his opponent, 29-year-old Harris got back into the win column last time out after suffering back-to-back losses to Brendan Allen and Chance Rencountre. The co-main event pairs Anthony Birchak (135.4) against Raphael Montini de Lima (135.4) in a bantamweight battle.

LFA 72, which airs on AXS TV on Friday, July 26 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, takes place at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. The event also features a welterweight bout between Jacob McClintock (170.8) and Raymond Pina (170.6). In a 140-pound catchweight contest, Roman Salazar (140) clashes with Mario Israel (139.8). The card also pits featherweight Paris Stanford (142.2) against Jake Heffernan (146).

Two fighters missed weight: Harris (186.8)* came in .8 pounds over the middleweight limit, and Alejandro Sanchez (157.8)** weighed in 1.8 pounds above the lightweight allowance. Both men have been fined a percentage of their respective purses.
