LFA 6 Weigh-in Results: Rivaldo Junior, Ray Rodriguez Cleared for Battle

Legacy Fighting Alliance continues to march on through 2017 and on Friday, the newly-formed promotion will host its sixth event of the new year. LFA 6 goes down at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas, and will be televised live on AXS TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Headlining LFA 6 will be a featherweight encounter between Rivaldo Junior and Ray Rodriguez and at Thursday’s weigh-ins, both men were on point. Local fighter Rodriguez tipped the scale at 144.2 pounds while his Brazilian counterpart came in at 146.8, setting the stage for the featured fight.

The co-feature will see Eryk Anders, who weighed 189.4 pounds, take on Jon Kirk, who came in at 191 in a 190-pound catchweight battle. Women’s jiu jitsu phenom Mackenzie Dern will also compete as she takes on Katherine Roy in a special 120-pound catchweight skirmish. Dern, who has had troubles making weight in the past and reportedly was initially contracted for a 115-pound bout, clocked in at 120 pounds on the money for her strawweight battle; Roy checked in at 119.8.
