James Webb, Thomas Robertsen to Fight for Middleweight Belt at Cage Warriors 102

Cage Warriors Fighting Championship announced on Tuesday morning that a new 185-pound king will be crowned at Cage Warriors 102, as James Webb takes on Thomas Robertsen for the organization’s vacant middleweight title at London’s Indigo at the O2 Arena on March 2.

In his last outing, Norway’s“Saint” Robertsen scored a first-round submission win over Saeed Younesi. The SBG Swords representative Webb is riding a four-bout winning streak with his last KO victory over former CW title challenger Jason Radcliffe at CW 99.

The promotion’s middleweight title became vacant after the last man to hold the belt, Jonas Billstein, was stripped of the title when he decided to fight outside Cage Warriors banner.

On the same bill, a bantamweight matchup between Brian Bouland and Cory Tait was also announced. Bouland, a former title challenger, is looking to earn another shot at the bantamweight belt and add another win to his resume. Tait made his Cage Warriors roster return with a ruthless first-round TKO over Gavin Kelly at CW99.
