Decorated Grappler Mackenzie Dern to Compete at Legacy Fighting Alliance 6 in San Antonio

Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Mackenzie Dern will make her third mixed martial arts appearance when she faces Katherine Roy at Legacy Fighting Alliance 6 on March 10.

The promotion announced recently announced a trio of bouts for the card, which takes place at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio and airs on AXS-TV. In the main event, Rivaldo Junior will face Ray Rodriguez in a featherweight duel, while Larry Crowe and Eryk Anders will lock horn’s in the evening’s co-headliner.

Dern, the 2015 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Champion, is 2-0 thus far in her burgeoning professional career. The MMA Lab product debuted with a three-round verdict over Kenia Ross at Legacy FC 58 before scoring a spectacular omaplata rear-naked choke to submit Montana Stewart at Legacy FC 61 in her most recent outing.

Roy, meanwhile, took a unanimous decision against May Ooi in her pro debut in the Philippines on July 30.
