The Europe-based grappling promotion confirmed the matchup to Sherdog.com on Wednesday. The Polaris Absolute Grand Prix takes place at the International Convention Center in Newport, Wales, and also features an open-weight tournament. The event will stream on UFC Fight Pass.

A former Division I wrestler who earned his black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. and Eduardo de Lima, Agazarm is a former IBJJF no-gi world champion and an ADCC silver medalist. He transitioned to MMA in 2019 and has won three straight bouts in Bellator after losing his promotional debut. Agazarm is known for training alongside Nick Diaz and Nate Diaz.

In addition to the lightweight championship, Williams holds titles at bantamweight and welterweight with Polaris. The Welsh-born grappler is a black belt under Chris Rees and Braulio Estima and has won multiple championships on the no-gi circuit.
