Carmouche is 5-0 since leaving the UFC to sign with Bellator. “Girl-Rilla” claimed flyweight gold with a fourth-round stoppage of Velasquez at Bellator 278 and defended the crown with a second-round submission of Velasquez in a rematch at Bellator 289 this past December. She defeated Bennett via third-round submission in her promotional debut at Bellator 246.
Bennett will enter the matchup with Carmouche on a three-bout winning streak that includes decision wins over Justine Kish (twice) and Alejandra Lara. Her 13-7-1 career mark includes a 6-5 stint in Invicta FC.
Stots has lost just once in 20 professional outings and is undefeated in seven Bellator appearances. Currently the promotion’s interim 135-pound champion, Stots advanced through the bracket with wins over Juan Archuleta and Danny Sabatello.
Mix, meanwhile, has been victorious in 17 of 18 professional fights. His run through the grand prix has included a five-round verdict over Kyoji Horiguchi and a submission of Magomed Magomedov.
According to KHON, Bellator 295 will also include a preliminary matchup between Yancy Medeiros and Charlie Leary. The promotion on Wednesday announced that Ilima-Lei Macfarlane will face Kana Watanabe in a flyweight bout on the main card. The following prelims were also confirmed: Davion Franklin vs. Kasim Aras at heavyweight; Bobby King vs. Aalon Cruz at lightweight; Keoni Diggs vs. Weber Almeida at featherweight; Kai Kamaka III vs. Adli Edwards at featherweight and Sumiko Inaba vs. Veta Arteaga at flyweight.
