Bellator 295 Weigh-in Results: Interim Title Fight Set; 2 Bouts Nixed
While there was plenty of drama ahead of weigh-ins, Bellator MMA had a relatively smooth ceremony as every fighter that hit the scales made weight ahead of Bellator 295.
The second of the promotion's Hawaiian mixed martial arts two cards this weekend will see interim titleholder Raufeon Stots take on Patrick Mix in the bantamweight grand prix final. Both men made weight and are eligible to win both the championship and the million-dollar prize. Two fights were pulled during the morning (Kyoji Horiguchi vs. Ray Borg and Weber Almeida vs. Keoni Diggs), although all other fighters made weight.

Looking to win the title is Mix (17-1), who also has largely lived up to the hype inside the Bellator cage. Besides a defeat to Archuleta in 2020, "Patchy" has won every other fight in his career. The 29-year-old has won four straight fights, which include impressive wins over Kyoji Horiguchi and Magomed Magomedov. Mix weighed in at 135 pounds on the dot.
Bellator 295 will air live on Showtime at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Saturday. Prelims begin on YouTube at 7:55 p.m. ET/4:55 p.m. PT.
