Bellator 192 Salaries: Sonnen, ‘Rampage’ Both Pull Down $300K Flat; MacDonald, Lima Earn $100K
Even if Quinton “Rampage” Jackson never pays up on his side bet over whether or not Chael Sonnen could take him down, both men are $300,000 richer after Bellator 192.
The most recent outing from Bellator MMA took place this past Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., where Sonnen defeated the former Ultimate Fighting Championship 205-pound titleholder Jackson via unanimous decision in the quarterfinals of Bellator’s heavyweight grand prix. Unsurprisingly, Sonnen and Jackson topped the payroll for the card, each taking the flat $300K with no win bonus.

For his Bellator welterweight title win, former UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald earned a flat $100,000, while the defeated champion, Douglas Lima, earned the same. Elsewhere, coveted prospect Aaron Pico made $30,000 to show and $30,000 to win for a total of $60,000, a 37-second demolition of Shane Kruchten.
Other notable undercard earners include Guilherme
Vasconcelos who made a flat $40K for his first-round submission
of Ivan
Castillo, and Khonry
Gracie, son of the legendary Royce Gracie,
who made $10,000 in losing his pro debut to Devon
Brock.
