Invicta 16 takes place at the Trinidad Pavilion at Tropicana Las Vegas and is headlined by an atomweight championship tilt between newly-crown titlist Ayaka Hamasaki and Amber Brown. The co-feature will see Vanessa Porto locking horns with Jennifer Maia to determine the promotion’s interim flyweight champ. Invicta FC 16 will be televised live on UFC’s Fight Pass online platform beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT.
A contestant on Season 20 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Hill was released from the Las Vegas-based promotion following back-to-back losses against Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas. “Overkill” made her Invicta debut on Jan. 16, stopping Alida Gray with a knee to the body 1:39 into the opening round.
Eggink made her promotional debut at Invicta FC 8, where she was submitted in the fifth round by Katja Kankaanpaa in a 125-pound title tilt. The 27-year-old Floridian has not fought since that defeat.
