UFC Fight Night 111 Medicals: Bethe Correia Gets 6-Month Term After Head-Kick KO Defeat
Former women’s bantamweight title challenger Bethe Correia has been issued a six-month medical suspension following her knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC Fight Night 111.

Holm floored Correia with a left head kick and landed one follow-up punch before the 135-pound bout was halted 1:09 into round three. Correia will be sidelined 180 days unless she receives “dental clearance.” At a minimum, the 33-year-old Brazilian is suspended 60 days with 45 days no contact. Holm, meanwhile, received a mandatory seven-day medical suspension.
