In what has become a new year-end tradition, former “The Trenches” hosts Jason Burgos and Anthony Walker (with the help of Associate Editor Jay Pettry) reunited for a special holiday edition of their beloved Sherdog video podcast.

In this Christmas-themed episode of the show, the pair took questions from the Sherdog Forums on a cornucopia of mixed martial arts and nerd culture topics, including Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White’s now infamous hit-piece video on mixed martial arts media. The pair also discuss if the UFC should keep running events consistently out of their Apex center and in Abu Dhabi after the pandemic ends.

Finally, the duo debate who should win Sherdog year-end awards in the categories for best fighter, bout, beatdown and breakthrough performance in 2020.
