In case you didn’t hear him on Saturday night, Anthony Smith would like to remind everyone that he isn’t going anywhere.

Smith, who challenged for 205-pound gold in March 2019, had been in something of a free fall in's light heavyweight rankings following back-to-back lopsided losses earlier this year, but his first-round submission victory against Devin Clark in the UFC on ESPN 18 main event on Saturday night allows him to maintain his No. 12 spot in our latest poll.

Meanwhile, Alexander Gustafsson exits the 205-pound rankings following 18 months of inactivity. (His last Octagon appearance was a heavyweight loss to Fabricio Werdum in July.) As a result, Magomed Ankalaev joins the light heavyweight bubble at No. 15 on the strength of a five-bout UFC winning streak.

Note: Previous rankings listed in parentheses.
