Returning to Socorro Entertainment Center in Texas on August 8 for Live MMA Event

(PRESS RELEASE) -- RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California — On Saturday, August 8, 2015 King of the Cage returns to the Socorro Entertainment Center in Socorro, Texas with another exciting evening of MMA fights…"Warriors."

The main event in the 135 lb. Division will feature local favorite Cristobal Chavez from El Paso, Texas (10th Planet BJJ) against Daniel Valdez from Saltillo, Mexico (Battle Field Fight Team). Chavez is a top ranked Bantamweight.

In the co-main event in the 125 lb. Division, Jesus Urbina from El Paso, Texas (10th Planet BJJ) will go head-to-head against Isaac Colon from Colorado Springs, Colorado (Kongo Do Fight Team). Both Urbina and Colon are top ranked fighters.

Other featured bouts include:

Isaac Nanez from El Paso, Texas (Gorilla MMA) vs. Cesar Zamarippa from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico (Ragnarok MMA)

Alex Diaz (Extreme Jiu Jitsu, El Paso, TX) vs. Jerome Rivera (Independent, Santa Fe, NM). Diaz is making his professional debut and was undefeated as an amateur. Rivera is undefeated.

Andy Varela from El Paso, Texas (10th Planet BJJ) vs. Caden Rezek from Durango, Colorado (Durango MMA). Both fighters are making their professional debut. Varela was undefeated as an amateur and was the former King of the Cage Amateur Champion. Rezek only had one loss during his amateur career.

Fred Rodriguez from El Paso, Texas (Lean Mean MMA) vs. Kevin Strickland from Tucson, Arizona

Victor Trujillo from El Paso, Texas (Lean Mean MMA) vs. Joe Aguirre from El Paso, Texas (Concrete Jungle)

Other fighters on the card include Cynthia Arceo, Jesse Morales, Rene Rangel, Abel Gardea, Eli Tellez, and more.
