BAMMA is coming to Dublin and we're taking over Ireland's largest indoor Arena!

(PRESS RELEASE) -- BAMMA, leaders in MMA sports entertainment and the home of European MMA, is proud to announce on Saturday September 19th, BAMMA will hold it's first ever event in Ireland at the iconic 3 Arena In Dublin. Giving Irish fans the opportunity to witness Europe's finest MMA talent up close and personal, BAMMA 22 is guaranteed to be one of the biggest BAMMA events to date.

Taking the headline spot is the hugely anticipated fight between Tom 'Fire Kid' Duquesnoy and Brendan Loughnane. Both on long winning streaks, this is a battle between two of Europe's top ranked Featherweights and you can expect fireworks. The French champ Duquesnoy has just extended his contract with BAMMA, and has made it very clear that he has no intention of giving up the belt. Bringing his dynamic all around game to the contest, Loughnane has also stated that he plans to destroy the aura currently surround the French phenom. Let the games begin....

BAMMA Featherweight Champion, Tom 'Fire Kid' DuQuesnoy (10-1) recently signed on the dotted line to extend his current deal with the promotion, despite courting offers from all over the world. Widely considered to be the world's number one MMA prospect* has been training hard for his next challenge in the US at Greg Jackson's MMA gym among others. The Sambo specialist will looking to dominate Loughnane en route to another victory for the first time in front of the attending Irish audience.

Brendan Loughnane (10-1) has also signed on the dotted line with the promotion recently and gets his wish, after a campaign on social media to get the next shot against the dominant Frenchman. Most recently defeating tough Frenchman Steve Polifonte at BAMMA 19 he now moves onto to a title shot in a stacked Featherweight division.

With tickets going on sale very shortly. This historic event is certainly going to be an event like no other as BAMMA comes to Ireland for the first time. Tickets are going to go fast so make sure you book yours when they go on sale!
