Paradigm Sports Management announced on Tuesday that Edwards has signed a new multi-fight contract with the Las Vegas-based promotion. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Congratulations to Leon Edwards on signing a new deal with the UFC,” a statement read. “With the upcoming main event in London and beyond Leon is primed for a huge 2020.”

Edwards will square off against former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in the UFC London main event on March 21 at the O2 Arena. The long-rumored bout became official last week.

The 28-year-old Englishman is on an eight-bout winning streak in UFC competition that dates back to May 2016. “Rocky” owns notable wins over the likes of Rafael dos Anjos, Gunnar Nelson, Donald Cerrone, Vicente Luque and Albert Tumenov. He owns an 18-3 professional mark overall, with nine triumphs coming inside the distance.
