WSOF 26 Salaries: Ex-Champ Lance Palmer, Ozzy Dugulubgov Take Largest Purses

Lance Palmer lost his World Series of Fighting title in the main event of WSOF 26, but the featherweight standout still took home one of the show’s biggest paychecks.

According to figures released Tuesday by the Nevada Athletic Commission, Palmer collected $28,000 in “show” money for his Dec. 18 duel with Alexandre Almeida at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Almeida, who took the WSOF strap after five hard-fought rounds, earned less than half of Palmer’s pay with a disclosed purse of $12,000.

Co-main event winner Ozzy Dugulubgov also pocketed a $28,000 check, half of which came from a $14,000 win bonus for his decision victory against Alaskan lightweight Nic Herron-Webb ($3,000).

Other high earners at the event included former bantamweight contenders Sheymon da Silva Moraes ($20,000) and Josh Hill ($14,000), as well as light heavyweight Jake Heun ($16,000).

Note: The disclosed purses reported by state athletic commissions do not include any performance-based or discretionary bonuses that may be awarded to a fighter by the promotion. Additionally, the reported figures do not reflect any deductions made by the commission for taxes, insurance, etc., and do not include any sponsorship money that a fighter may acquire for their performance.
