WSOF 10 Weigh-in Results: All Six Title Bout Participants Cleared

World Series of Fighting 10 offers a trio of title contests, and all six fighters scheduled to compete in those bouts successfully made weight on Friday.

Main event combatants David Branch and Jesse Taylor were both cleared ahead of their clash for the promotion’s vacant middleweight title. Branch checked in at 184 pounds, while Taylor tipped the scales at 182.8. A four-time UFC veteran, Branch enters the championship matchup with three straight victories under the WSOF banner. Taylor has won seven straight, including a three-round verdict over Elvis Mutapcic in his promotional debut.

WSOF 10 takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night. The evening’s main card airs on NBC Sports Network beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. The preliminary draw streams immediately prior on Sherdog.com at approximately 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.

Meanwhile, reigning featherweight king Georgi Karakhanyan (145) was on point for his title defense against Rick Glenn (144). Unbeaten in his last nine outings, Karakhanyan captured the inaugural WSOF crown with a third-round submission win over Lance Palmer in December. Roufusport’s Glenn garnered wins over Alexandre Pimentel and Artur Rofi in his first two promotional appearances to earn his crack at the belt.

Women’s strawweight champion Jessica Aguilar also made weight without issue, tipping the scales at (114.8) pounds ahead of her showdown with Emi Fujino (115). Aguilar won the 115-pound title with a first-round submission of Alida Gray in January. Fujino makes her WSOF debut after spending most of her career in Japan.

The night’s main card will also see UFC veteran Tyson Griffin (155) lock horns with Luiz Firmino (155.2), as well as a featherweight tilt between Lance Palmer (145) and Nick LoBosco (145.8).
