The two face off and throw a few range finding jabs. Jorgensen quickly shoots in and takes Osawa down. Osawa having hard time getting up. Jorgensen has good ground attack and lands several punches. Not much action but Osawa is clearly losing. Fight still on the ground with Jorgensen in control with decent ground-n-pound. Osawa escapes the attacks by applying a tight guillotine. The choke is pretty tight but Jorgensen is defending it. Jorgensen frees himself and the round ends. 10-9 Jorgensen.
Round 2
Round begins and Jorgensen quickly tries to take Osawa down again. Osawa is sprawling nicely. Jorgensen not landing any strikes but still is looking for double and single legs. Oswawa still defending well. Jorgensen brings Osawa down but is caught in a crucifix. Osawa has Jorensen's arm trapped but isn't capitalizing. Jorgensen still trapped but looks calm and collected. Jorgensen escapes from the position and reverses the Japanese fighter and lands in side control. Jorgensen lands some good elbows and hammer fists. The round ends. Very close round. 10-9 Jorgensen.
Round 3
Jorgensen scores a takedown early. Osawa not able to escape and is being pinned down. Jorgensen landing some decent strikes, but nothing really damaging. Crowd starting to grow restless from the lack of action. Jorgensen passes Osawa's guard late. He's in side control. Jorgensen gets Osawa's back and looking for a rear naked choke. Osawa defends but is eating some punches. The round ends and Jorgensen can't close the show. 10-9 Jorgensen. All three ringside judges score the fight 30-27 for Jorgensen. Decent scrap to start the afternoon.
Mike Budnik vs. Greg McIntyre (Pictures)
Round 1
The two feel each other out standing. McIntyre shoots in and scores a quick takedown. Budnik trying to free himself, but can't get McIntyre off. McIntrye having his way with a decent ground-n-pound. Not a whole lot of action, but McIntyre is controlling. Bunik latches on a triangle late. It's not very tight and McIntyre escapes without harm. The round ends. 10-9 McIntyre.
Round 2
Spinning back kick by Budnik right off the bat. McIntyre looks hurt. Budnik tries to close in and swarm him but McIntyre looks okay now. McIntyre still looks a little shaky and scores an easy takedown. Budnik scrambles back to his feet. McIntyre scores another single leg. McIntyre lands some decent strikes from inside Budnik's guard. Budnik scrambles back to his feet again. McIntyre scores another takedown. McIntyre still controlling the pace like in the first round with decent ground-and-pound. Round ends with McIntyre in Budnik's guard. 10-9 McIntyre.
Round 3
McIntyre scores another quick takedown. He does more decent ground-n- pound and is total control. Budnik tries for an armbar but McIntyre has none of it. McIntyre looks on his way toward victory. Budnik tries a triangle but McIntyre is defending. The triangle is in deep now and McIntyre is in trouble. McIntyre trying everything to escape but he can't; it's very deep. McIntyre taps out. The official time of the triangle is 3:21 of the third round. Budnik looked on his way to losing a unanimous decision but his submission game pulls him through.
Shane Roller vs. Todd Moore (Pictures)
Round 1
The two come out firing. Moore lands a good punch and Roller answers. Moore lands a few more good shots but then takes Roller down. Roller tries for a guillotine. Moore easily escapes the choke and works ground-n-pound. Roller defending well and latches on another guillotine. Moore is stuck in the choke and it's deep. Moore can't escape this one. He taps out at 3:00 of the first.
Blas Avena (Pictures) vs. Dave Terrel (Pictures)
Round 1
After a lengthy delay the fights are back. Terrel and Avena both look pumped and focused. At the bell, the two fire away with bombs. Both landing as good as they get. Avena tries a standing guillotine. Terrel escapes and fires several punches at Avena, who obliges. Both unloading bombs again. Huge knee by Avena rocks Terrel. Avena follows with a series of punches. Terrel drops and is in great peril. Avena bombards him and closes the show with a flurry of punches. The referee jumps in to stop the assault at the 1:07 mark of the opening frame.
Brock Larson (Pictures) vs. Carlo Prater (Pictures)
Round 1
Crowd heavily behind Larson. Still don't know why he's not on the main WEC cards as he's always a crowd favorite. Larson comes out swinging. Larson lands a huge straight hand that floors Prater. Prater in grave danger and Larson tees off. The referee stops it at 0:37 of the first. Very quick, impressive TKO for Larson.
Micah Miller (Pictures) vs. Josh Grispi
Round 1
In the final off-TV prelim bout, Grispi and Miller square off. Both guys look ready to go. Miller eats a solid leg kick almost immediately. Another hard leg kick from Grispi sends Miller to the canvas. Grispi throws several more stinging leg kicks. Miller is let back up by Grispi. Miller comes in to punch but is tagged by a furious overhand right. Miller crumbles to the canvas and is in serious trouble. Grispi quickly pounces on Miller and unfurls a barrage of punches. Many of them land and Miller but none are really hard and he doesn't look like he's dazed badly. More strikes land and the fight is stopped. Miller jumps up angrily and protests that he wasn't hurt. The official time is 0:50 of the first round. A shocking and very impressive win for Grispi.
Brian Bowles (Pictures) vs. Damacio Page (Pictures)
Round 1
Bowles starts the bout with haymakers and Page is game. The fighters trade wild strikes in the center of the cage until Page slips on the canvas. Bowles elbows the head and punches with both hands from Page’s closed-guard. Page uses the cage to get back to his feet, but he is caught in a guillotine choke before standing. Page frees his neck and takes the top position against the fencing. Bowles looks for an armbar and eats a hard right for his effort. Bowles gets to his feet and lands two straight rights on the chin. Page kicks the lead thigh and stuffs a takedown before lifting Bowles high in the air in search of a slam. While in the air, Bowles locks on a tight guillotine choke with an arm inside. Page slams his opponent to escape, but is caught deeper in the hold. He taps out with his right hand at the 3:30 mark.
Jamie Varner (Pictures) vs. Marcus Hicks
Round 1
Varner comes out jabbing, and Hicks locks him up. Varner puts Hicks' back against the cage, but Hicks dumps him to the ground when Varner tries a knee. Varner gets up immediately, but Hicks holds on to a body lock for another takedown. Again Varner gets up quickly, and Hicks grabs a guillotine choke. Varner escapes. After a brief trade, Hicks dumps Varner to the ground again. Varner hops up. Good action for the first minute. They separate. Varner throws a head kick and then feeds Hicks' some knees in the clinch. Hicks is hurt. Varner picking him apart with punches, lands a huge right hand and lefts. Hicks crumbles against the cage. Referee Steve Mazzagatti moves in but doesn't stop it. Hicks gets back to his feet, but Varner is still flurrying on him. Varner measures him for a final right hand that drops Hicks and forces the stoppage. The official time is 2:08 of the first.
Brian Stann (Pictures) vs. Steve Cantwell (Pictures)
Round 1
The fighters touch gloves in the center of the cage and begin to circle. Cantwell goes high with a kick but it’s short of its target. Cantwell lands the first blow of the bout, a counter left hook. Cantwell attacks the legs while the champion looks to counter punch. Stann fires off a right low kick of his own. The fighters trade and the challenger tees off. Two right hands connect on the button. Stann hangs in there and ties up with his explosive opponent. Now back in the center of the cage, Stann pieces together two straight right hands. Cantwell lowers his head and cracks Stann with a left hook. Stann clinches and is hit with two standing elbows to the temple. The champion is sporting some wear to the right side of his face. Cantwell slips on the canvas and Stann takes advantage with a flurry of right hands to his fallen opponent. Cantwell stands to his feet before the round closes.

Round 2
Stann grazes his right foot off the groin protector of Cantwell early in the second round. Time is given by Herb Dean for the challenger to recover. Cantwell uses his jab to setup a crisp right straight to the midsection. Cantwell follows with a digging left hook to the body that hurts Stann. Both fighters are fatigued but a fast pace holds steady. Stann lands a one-two. Cantwell clinches with Stann against the fencing and lands two knees to the head and one to the body. Stann is nearly out on his feet after several punches and a kick lands. The hurt champion covers up and absorbs punishment. He drops his guard to answer back but is dropped with a right hook counter on the chin. Cantwell strikes the side of the head until Dean steps in to save Stann at 4:01 of round two. Steve Cantwell takes the WEC light heavyweight crown in impressive, dominating performance.
Carlos Condit (Pictures) vs. Hiromitsu Miura (Pictures)
Round 1
Condit kicks at Miura’s midsection and legs throughout the opening minute. Miura lands a left hook and fails on a judo throw. A second throw is right on target as the champion is slammed ankles over elbows to the canvas. Miura is unable to hold Condit down but he throws his to the canvas two more times. Condit again stands and lands a straight right that snaps Miura’s head backwards. Another straight right drops the challenger. Condit goes directly to knee-on-belly position on the ground. Condit takes his time setting up an armbar but Miura has none of it. Now stuck in a crucifix, Miura absorbs right elbows and punches to his face. Condit spins into an armbar that misses. Miura stands and executes another amazing judo throw.

Round 2
Condit goes straight for the body in round two with straight and hook punches. Miura slips and locks on a closed-guard. Condit stands and is belted by an upkick. The champion smoothly passes to half-guard, where he hits the body and head with his right hand. Condit attempts to pass to side-control, but Miura uses excellent leg work to hold him at bay. Condit gives up the pass and looks for a kimura. The champion gives it up and moves to mount. He hits the head with both hands before going for an armbar. The hold is deep but Miura escapes and takes the top position. Referee Josh Rosenthal stands up the fighters following a lull in the action. Miura rushed in for a throw and the fighters collided heads. Miura seems stunned but neither fighter is cut.

Round 3
Miura lands a right hook and finds Condit on his back after a failed throw. Miura spins to Condit’s front and is caught in a guillotine. Condit loses the hold, but takes the mount. Elbows from Condit strike their target. Miura bucks Condit off and takes the top. Left-handed punches graze the head of Condit. Condit locks on a body-triangle from the bottom and is rocked with punches. Miura postures up and bombs away with right hands. Condit senses he is in trouble and like a champion, quickly uses the cage to get back to his feet as he slid up with his back. Condit trades and the off-balance Miura slips. Condit hops on his back and looks for a rear-naked choke as the round expires.

Round 4
Two right hooks clip Condit’s chin and he’s in trouble. He shoots for a desperate double-leg takedown and gets it. From half-guard, Condit tries a guillotine choke but Miura is game. He sweeps and takes the top position, where he punches at Condit’s head from half-guard. Condit goes for a heel hook that fails. Referee Josh Rosenthal stands the fighters up. Again Miura hurts Condit with wild hook punches from both hands, but gives up an easy takedown to his hurt opponent. Condit easily goes to mount. Miura executes a reversal and continues the assault with power shots from both hands. Condit gets to his feet and lands a knee on the chin that knocks the fatigued Miura down. Condit , from Miura’s back, hits the head with his left hand until Rosenthal steps in to halt the contest. Great fight. The end comes at 4:43 of the fourth frame.
