Victory FC 48 Weigh-in Results: Jackson, Moreno Make Weight
Victory Fighting Championship 48 will be held Friday night at
the Buccaneer Arena in Urbandale, Iowa, and on Thursday, all but
one of the main card fighters made weight for the UFC Fight
Pass-televised card (10 p.m. ET).
Welterweight headliners Jason Jackson and Victor Moreno were both on point at the scale, clearing the way for their battle to take place. Both combatants officially weighed in at 169.5 pounds.
The co-feature’s weigh-in wasn’t as smooth, though. While Cameron Olson eventually made the middleweight limit on his second attempt (coming in at 185.3 pounds), his opponent, Jordan Young didn’t fare so well. Jordan came in at a whopping 191.5 pounds. Olson’s camp agreed to a catchweight of 192 pounds and in the process, Young will be forfeiting a percentage of the night’s ticket sales from his purse.
