Valerie Loureda won’t be making her return to mixed martial arts at Bellator 238, after all.

MyMMANews.com was first to report that Loureda has been pulled from the event due to an undisclosed injury. The American Top Team representative was supposed to face Tara Graff in a flyweight bout on the preliminary card. Bellator 238 takes place at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and is headlined by a women’s featherweight title clash between Julia Budd and Cristiane Justino. According to the report, Bellator hopes to rebook Loureda vs. Graff at a later date.

Loureda recently completed a stint on the reality show “Exatlon Estados Unidos.” The series premiered in August on Telemundo and featured well-known figures competing against normal people in athletic competitions. Yoel Romero and Jorge Masvidal previously competed on the show.

The 21-year-old American Top Team representative last competed at Bellator 222, where she took a unanimous verdict over Larkyn Dasch.

Nicknamed “The Tiny Terror,” Graff has compiled a 1-1 mark while fighting in the King of the Cage promotion. She hasn’t competed since November 2018.
