UFC on ESPN 30 Weigh-in Results: Martinez Comes in 4 Pounds Heavy

The UFC on ESPN 30 weigh-ins were largely devoid of drama, although Leomana Martinez blew weight by four pounds.

The 12-fight Ultimate Fighting Championship card is headlined by a featherweight bout pitting Edson Barboza against Giga Chikadze. The card also features two "The Ultimate Fighter 29" finals as Bryan Battle faces Gilbert Urbina at middleweight, and Brady Hiestand goes up against Ricky Turcios in the bantamweight finals.

Going into his third UFC main event, Barboza (22-9) is riding a two-fight win streak. The Brazilian most recently knocked out Shane Burgos and won a decision over Makwan Amirkhani. Ever the professional, the 35-year-old had no issue making weight and came in at 145 pounds on the dot.

This is the first time that Chikadze has headlined a card, but he's won his last eight fights with six of those coming inside the Octagon. "Ninja" most recently stopped Cub Swanson with a beautiful body kick, and before that, finished Jamey Simmons in under four minutes. The Georgia native came in at 145.5 pounds.

The UFC on ESPN 30 main card will air on ESPN and ESPN+ starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Prelim action will start three hours prior and stream exclusively on ESPN+.
