The move to bantamweight for Norma Dumont has been anything but successful, as her second bad weight miss in a row caused a bout cancellation.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to ABC airwaves for the second time on Saturday. UFC on ABC 2 is headlined by a middleweight bout between contenders Marvin Vettori and Kevin Holland.

Looking to cement himself as a future title challenger, Vettori (16-4-1) is on the best stretch of his career. The Italian fighter impressed in a one-sided beating of Jack Hermansson in his last fight, and previously submitted Karl Roberson in a grudge match. Before these two statement-making victories, the Italian captured a pair of decisions over Andrew Sanchez and Cezar Ferreira. "The Italian Dream" officially stepped on the scale at 186 ready pounds.

Stepping in for an injured Darren Till on short notice, Holland (21-6) is looking to bounce back from a disappointing showing against Derek Brunson last month. Before the defeat, "Trailblazer" had been on an impressive five-fight win streak that saw him finish four opponents, including Ronaldo Souza, Joaquin Buckley and Charlie Ontiveros. The 28-year-old officially weighed 183.5 for his second UFC main event, well below the middleweight cap just like his previous bout with Brunson.

Two fighters officially missed weight: Norma Dumont (139.5), who came in heavy for the second time in a row by coming in 3.5 pounds above the bantamweight limit, and Ignacio Bahamondes (156.75) also hit the scales .75 pounds heavy. Dumont's fight against Erin Blanchfield has been canceled by the commission, while Bahamondes has been fined 20 percent of his purse after he was unable to make weight on his second attempt.

UFC on ABC 2 has an early start time, with the first preliminary bout starting on ESPN and ESPN+ at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. The main card will switch to ABC while simultaneously streaming on ESPN+ at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
