The featured bout of the UFC Fight Night 150 prelims saw Takashi Sato score a second-round technical knockout of Ben Saunders at welterweight. The most recognizable name on that portion of the card was likely former heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski, who dropped a contentious split decision to Augusto Sakai.
Meanwhile, the early prelims were topped by a lightweight duel between longtime veteran Jim Miller and Jason Gonzalez, which Miller won by way of rear-naked choke in the opening stanza. Saturday marked the first time the early prelims aired on one of the ESPN networks.
UFC Fight Night 150 took place at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and saw Jack Hermansson defeat Ronaldo Souza by unanimous decision in the evening’s middleweight headliner.
