Joel Alvarez vs. Danilo Belluardo

Round 1

The first fight of the night is a lightweight bout between Joel Alvarez and Danilo Belluardo. The referee is Rebin Saber. They touch gloves and the fight begins. Alvarez with a high kick immediately that’s blocked. He moves forward and lands a 1-2 combination culminating with a low kick. Right hook by Alvarez. He lands a kick to the body. Low kick by Alvarez. Belluardo returns with a low kick of his own. Alvarez with another kick to the body. Belluardo lands a nice long left straight. Belluardo with an uppercut followed by a straight left. Belluardo changes levels and completes a double leg takedown. He’s in half guard now. Alvarez gets back into his full guard. He’s working from the bottom with his punches and elbows. Belluardo lands some punches from the top himself. Alvarez tries to kick himself loose but Belluardo stays strong on top until the end of the round.

Round 2

Round two begins. Alvarez moves forward and lands a knee. He pushes forward on Belluardo, who once again completes a double leg takedown. Belluardo moves into full mount but Alvarez is able to sweep him and land on top. Alvarez is now on top in half guard and is landing some brutal punches and elbows to the head of Belluardo. The referee has seen enough and Alvarez gets the TKO finish. That stoppage came out of nowhere.

Devin Clark vs. Darko Stosic

Round 1

Up next is a light heavyweight bout between Devin Clark and Darko Stosic. The referee is Kevin Sataki. They touch gloves. Clark with a low kick. Clark drops Stosic with a stinging jab. He jumps down to the mat and holds Stosic to the mat. Clark seems to be fishing for some sort of choke but Stosic appears to be holding his gloves, though the referee can’t see. Finally Stosic is able to get back to his feet but Clark continues to hold him and press him against the fence. They break and Clark lands a high kick on the break. It appears Stosic lands hard on Clark but the commentators say he slipped. Now Stosic is holding Clark against the fence. Now Clark lands a spinning back fist. Stosic recovers quickly and holds Clark against the fence. Stosic starts landing at will on Clark along the fence with a number of heavy hooks. They break. Stosic looks tired and flails on a straight right attempt. Clark shoots for a single leg but doesn’t get it and the round is over.

Round 2

Round two begins. Clark with a low kick. High kick by Clark is blocked. Stosic with a jab. Clark with a jab of his own. Clark shoots for another single leg takedown but Stosic defends it. Stosic pushes Clark against the cage. Clark reverses position, and Stosic reverses back. They break and Stosic lands an elbow on the break. Clark with another low kick. Clark with a body kick and then a straight right. Another jab by Clark. He shoots for a double leg but Stosic defends it. Stosic reverses Clark against the cage. Stosic changes levels for a double leg takedown and slams Clark to the mat in thunderous fashion. Stosic is now on top of Clark in half guard. Clark is able to get back into full guard. Stosic starts landing some heavy punches and elbows from the top. The round soon comes to a close.

Clark with a 1-2 combination to the body. Stosic with a heavy left hook. Clark with a high kick that is partially blocked. He shoots for another double leg takedown but Stosic defends it. Stosic pushes Clark against the cage and knees hm in the body. Stosic is able to complete a single leg takedown but Clark gets back to his feet. Clark with an uppercut followed by a straight right. Clark with a high kick that is partially blocked. He lands a straight right to the body. Clark pushes Stosic against the cage. He lands a knee to the thigh. They break. Another jab by Clark. He shoots for another double leg takedown but Stosic stuffs it. Clark with a low kick and then an elbow. Stosic with a left hook to the body. Stosic is looking for a double leg takedown but Clark stuffs it. They exchange combinations against the cage. Stosic moves forward and lands a big left hook. Stosic continues to push Clark against the cage until the end of the round.

Santanna moves forward and takes Malecki down with a double leg. Malecki is able to get back up but Santanna slams her back to the ground. Santanna is now looking for a guillotine choke. Malecki is able to get out of the choke attempt and stand back up. Santanna takes Malecki down with a body lock takedown. Malecki gets back up again. Santanna lands a straight right. Santanna with a teep kick. Another jab by Santanna. Malecki moves forward and lands a straight right of her own. Low kick by Santanna. Jab by Santanna. Straight right by Santanna. Another jab by Santanna and the round comes to a close.

Malecki transitions to Santanna's back and is now looking for a rear-naked choke. Malecki is able to stretch Santana out and complete the submission. That fight turned around very quickly.

Round 1

Up next are the lightweights as Frank Camacho takes on Nick Hein. The official in charge of the action is Leon Roberts. They touch gloves. Camacho with a straight right to the body. Hein with a straight left to the body. Hein with a left hook to the head. Camacho looks for the high kick but Hein circles away. Hein moves forward and is able to land a judo toss but Camacho gets back up to his feet quickly. Camacho with a brutal kick to the body. Another kick to the body by Camacho. He lands a low kick. Camacho with a straight right to the body. Jumping knee by Camacho. Hein with a straight left. Uppercut by Hein. Another body kick by Camacho. He lands a straight right and then an uppercut. Another heavy body kick by Camacho. Hein with a low kick. He lands a straight left. Camacho with a low kick. Kick to the body again by Camacho. Low kick by Hein. Another brutal kick to the body by Camacho. Uppercut by Camacho and Hein returns fire with a straight left. Another kick to the body by Camacho. Hein with a right hook. They clinch and Camacho lands some punches to the body and then another body kick on the break. Camacho’s body work is amazing so far. He lands yet another body kick and Hein’s ribcage is dark red now from all these kicks. Camacho with a brutal right hook to the body. Hein with a left hook to the body of his own. Camacho with another kick to the body. He lands another brutal body kick and Hein is starting to turtle up against the fence. Camacho starts going to work with punches. Hein turtles up and the referee steps in and stops the fight. Great performance by Camacho.

Steven Ray vs. Leonardo Santos

Round 1

Next up are the lightweights as Leonardo Santos takes on Steven Ray. The referee is Marc Goddard. They touch gloves and the fight begins. Kick to the body by Santos. Another kick to the body by Santos. He lands another and Ray’s midsection is already red. Another body kick by Santos. Low kick by Santos. Ray returns fire with a low kick of his own. Santos lands another body kick. Ray with a straight left. Santos lands a counter straight right that drops Ray and he’s knocked out cold! Wow! Amazing KO by Santos.

Tonya Evinger vs. Lina Lansberg

Round 1

It’s time for a women’s bantamweight bout between Tonya Evinger and Lina Lansberg. The referee is Kevin Sataki. They touch gloves and the fight is on. Evinger pushes forward and has Lansberg up against the cage immediately. Evinger is fighting for the takedown but Lansberg is defending nicely. They break and Lansberg lands an elbow off the break that cuts Evinger open. Evinger immediately pushes Lansberg back up against the cage. She is fighting for the takedown but so far Lansberg is defending nicely. Lansberg reverses position and we can see the cut on Evinger and it’s really bad. Lansberg lands a trip takedown and ends up in full mount on the ground. She is pounding away at the face of Evinger in half guard. Lansberg is landing elbows and punches at will. There’s not enough time left in the round to get the finish but that was one heck of a finish to the round by Lansberg.

Round 2

Round two begins. Lansberg lands a straight right immediately. Evinger pushes forward and has Lansberg against the fence. Evinger completes the trip takedown and winds up on top of Lansberg in half guard. Evinger transitions to the back of Lansberg and has her hooks in working for the rear-naked choke. Lansberg is able to sweep Evinger and wind up on top in half guard. Lansberg is pounding away at the face of Evinger. Lansberg finishes the round in a dominant position and Evinger has a lot of work to do in the third if she wants to get her hand raised.

Round 3

The third and final round begins. Evinger immediately clinches up with Lansberg but Lansberg reverses position against the cage. Lansberg is landing some hard knees to the body and thighs of Evinger. They break. Lansberg lands a hard knee and takes Evinger to the mat. She is pounding away at the head of Evinger on the ground. The referee is taking a closer look now. Lansberg is landing some heavy elbows now. Evinger manages to regain halfguard but she has been dominated the entire fight. Lansberg doesn’t get the finish, but she’ll earn the decision for the biggest win of her career.

Akman moves forward and pushes Khandozhko against the cage. They break after a failed takedown attempt. Khandozhko with a low kick. Akman moves forward and lands a right hook. Low kick by Khandozhko. Akman with a sharp jab. Another low kick by Khandozhko. Right hook by Khandozhko. Low kick by Khandozhko, and another. They exchange punches up close, then they exchange low kicks. Akman moves forward off his jab. Khandozhko with a spinning back kick attempt that’s blocked. Akman lands a jab and it looks like Khandozhko is hurt. Khandozhko with a spinning back fist attempt that misses. He misses on a spinning wheel kick and the round is over.

Round 2

Round two begins. Khandozhko lands a left hook and then a kick. Kick to the body by Khandozhko and then a straight right. Khandozhko with an overhand left. Akman moves forward off his jab. Akman is able to escape and get back to his feet. Akman pushes Khandozhko against the fence and drags him to the mat but Khandozhko reverses it with the whizzer. They are back up against the fence and Akman is able to drag Khandozhko to the mat. Akman is on top of Khandozhko in side control but there’s not enough time left in the round to do anything with it.

Round three begins. Akman has the center of the Octagon once again with Khandozhko on his feet back pedalling. Akman shoots for a single leg takedown on Khandozhko against the cage. Khandozhko defends it. On the break Khandozhko lands a hard left hook. Akman lands a left hook of his own. Khandozhko lands another left hook, which has been money for him in this fight. Khandozhko pushes forward and briefly gets the double leg takedown but Akman bounces back up. Now Khandozhko has Akman up against the cage and Akman reverses him. Akman is able to drag Khandozhko to the mat. Khandozhko reverses position and gets back to his feet. Akman drags Khandozhko back down to the mat. Khandozhko reverses him once again. Now Khandozhko is able to drag Akman down to the mat. Akman gets back up and Khandozhko is now looking to take his back. They break. Khandozhko with another hard left hook. He lands a right hook and then a kick to the body. The fight is now over. What a great fight.

He nearly trips Jo to the mat but Jo stuffs it. Now Teymur explodes and lands a double leg takedown. Teymur is on top of Jo in his full guard. Jo manages to grab his arm and nearly gets an armbar but Teymur escapes. Jo is now looking for a triangle choke but once again Teymur escapes. Teymur lands some heavy ground and pound and then nearly takes the back of Jo in a scramble but Jo gets back to his feet. Jo lands a hard knee to the face of Teymur. Now Teymur lands an uppercut and pushes Jo against the cage. He lands an uppercut and then a right hook on the break. The round is now over.

Kick to the body by Giagos and then he grabs a single leg and slams Hadzovic to the mat. Giagos lands in side control. Hadzovic regains half guard and then sweeps Giagos and gets back to his feet. But Giagos takes him down once again and lands in the full guard of Hadzovic. Giagos is able to eat time off the clock but Hadzovic is finally able to get back up to his feet just before the round ends.

Round two begins. Giagos lands an uppercut and then a left hook. Hadzovic is rocked but is somehow still on his feet and moving forward. Giagos with a left hook. Giagos changes levels and completes a double leg takedown. He’s now looking for a brabo choke but Hadzovic is able to get back to his feet. Giagos with a long straight right. Hadzovic once again is taken down by a double leg. Giagos takes the back of Hadzovic. He isn’t able to get the choke and gives it up. They are back to the feet with Giagos pushing Hadzovic against the cage. Giagos lands a left hook on the break. Uppercut by Giagos. Hadzovic with a kick to the body. Hadzovic moves forward and works off the jab. Giagos lands another uppercut but Hadzovic continues to push forward. Giagos shoots for a single leg but Hadzovic defends it. Uppercut by Giagos. Both guys look exhausted now. Hadzovic lands a double leg takedown just before the end of the round.

He looks for a single leg but Hadzovic stuffs it and throws Giagos to the mat. Hadzovic is now on top of Giagos in his full guard. He needs a finish. Hadzovic land some punches from the top. But he doesn’t do enough and the round and fight are now over.

It’s time for a featherweight bout between Chris Fishgold and Makwan Amirkhani. Marc goddard is the referee. Amirkhani comes out with the flying knee that doesn’t connect. Amirkhani accidentally pokes Fishgold in the eye and the ref calls time. Fishgold with a high kick that is partially blocked. He then lands a low kick. Another brutal low kick by Fishgold that takes the legs out from Amirkhani. Now Amirkhani rushes forward and gets the double leg takedown. Fishgold looks to attack the legs of Amirkhani and then locks in a reverses triangle. Amirkhani is able to get out but Fishgold uses it to get back into his guard. Amirkhani continues to stay strong on top until the end of the round, with a last-second anaconda choke attempt being futile.

Round 2

Round two begins. Amirkhani lands a right hook. He looks for a jumping knee but Fishgold grabs his leg before he lands it. Amirkhani with a 1-2 combination. Big straight right by Fishgold lands. After a brief timeout, the fight restarts. Low kick by Fishgold. Amirkhani lands a right hook. Another low kick by Fishgold. Amirkhani dives for a double leg takedown and Fishgold locks in a guillotine choke. But Amirkhani gets out of the choke and lands in side control. That looks to have been a tactical error by Fishgold. Amirkhani is now in half guard. Amirkhani locks in an anaconda choke. Fishgold defends well for a moment but eventually is forced to tap. Nice win by Amirkhani.

Jimi Manuwa vs. Aleksandar Rakic

Round 1

It’s now time for the co-main event, a light heavyweight bout between Aleksandar Rakic and Jimi Manuwa. Kevin Sataki is the referee. They touch gloves. Rakic with a low kick and Manuwa just misses landing a huge left hook. Rakic lands a right uppercut and follows it up with a brutal left high kick that absolutely destroys Manuwa, who falls down on the mat completely knocked out cold. Amazing KO win for Rakic, who looks like a real contender at 205lbs. Amazing win by Rakic tonight in Sweden.

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Anthony Smith

Round 1

The main event is upon us, a five-round light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith. The referee is Marc Goddard. They touch gloves and the fight begins. Smith takes the center of the Octagon while Gustafsson circles around on the outside. Smith with an overhand right but Gustafsson moves away. Smith continues to stalk Gustafsson, who continues to circle. Smith with a big straight left. Low kick by Smith. Gustafsson’s lower left leg is cut open from a check of kicks. Smith looks for an overhand right but Smith moves away. Gustafsson with the jab. Smith with a teep kick. Smith with a left hook. Low kick by Gustafsson. Low kick by Smith. Gustafsson with a jab and then a push kick. Smith lands a left hook and the round is over.
