It’s time for a women’s strawweight bout between Carla Esparza and Virna Jandiroba. The referee is Alan Abeles. They touch gloves. Jandiroba gets caught off guard and Esparza changes levels for a strong double leg takedown and completes it. Jandiroba is trying to get back to her feet but Esparza is doing a great job of staying strong on top. Esparza is looking to pass into the mount but Jandiroba is able to scramble and get back to her feet. Esparza with a left hook and Jandiroba returns fire with an overhand right. Right hook by Jandiroba. Esparza changes levels and once again completes a power double. Jandiroba is looking for an armbar but Esparza scrambles out of it.
