Anthony Hamilton vs. Adam Wieczorek

Round 1

Hamilton pushes forward at the opening horn but gets brushed back by push kicks from the Polish newcomer. "Freight Train" keeps coming straight ahead, pushes Wieczorek against the wall and then changes level for an early takedown. Working from half guard, Hamilton leans across Wieczorek's body to land punches and elbows to the ribs. Hamilton passes to side control on the right, but Wieczorek quickly recovers half guard, then full guard, forcing Hamilton to stand up. Hamilton comes back down to kneel in half guard and resumes his body shots. Hamilton stands again, won't allow Wieczorek to get up, now kneels down in half guard with two minutes left in what has been a dominant first round for the American. Wieczorek tries to shrimp underneath and create some space, finally succeeds in pushing Hamilton away, and now Hamilton allows "Siwy" to get up. Hamilton walks through a few punches to dig an underhook and pin Wieczorek against the wall, and that's where the round ends.

Sherdog Scores

Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Hamilton
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Hamilton
Josh Stillman scores the round 10-9 Hamilton

Round 2

Wieczorek starts the second round coming forward, catches the backpedaling Hamilton losing his footing and knocks him to the ground with a partially blocked high kick. Wieczorek comes down in Hamilton's half guard, now looking to pass with head-and-arm control. Hamilton regains full guard briefly but can't hold the 6-foot-5 Wieczorek, who postures up and lands a few hard elbows to Hamilton's jaw. Wieczorek tries to mount, but Hamilton escapes out the back door, and now the heavyweights scramble back to their feet. Both big men are breathing heavily as they hit the halfway point of the round, though Wieczorek looks to be the fresher fighter, with more offensive output as they get back to striking. Neither man is doing any significant damage, though, and the fight slows as they clinch on the fence with one minute remaining. Wieczorek lands a knee to the body, tries to toss Hamilton, but "Freight Train" blocks the throw and trips Wieczorek to his seat at the base of the fence. Hamilton spends the final 30 seconds in top position, wrapping up Wieczorek to keep him on the floor.

Sherdog Scores

Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Wieczorek
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Wieczorek
Josh Stillman scores the round 10-9 Wieczorek

Round 3

Wieczorek connects with a right hand over the top, then takes one in return and gets hustled against the fence by Hamilton, who's looking for an early takedown to start the final frame. Wieczorek keeps his balance, so Hamilton keeps him pinned against the cage to deliver a few knees to the body. Wieczorek shoves him away and strings together a combination on the tired-looking American. Hamilton fakes a right hand and dives on Wieczorek's legs, but again he's unable to secure a takedown on the fence. Half the round remains as the heavyweights strike cautiously, Hamilton landing a leg kick but deflected Wieczorek's combination. Wieczorek scores a low kick of his own, then keeps his footing as Hamilton comes shooting another double-leg against the cage. Hamilton tries to hold the Polish fighter in place, but Wieczorek pushes him away, lands a clinch knee to the body. Hamilton rushes him against the fence one more time with 15 seconds left, but it's Wieczorek connecting with one last knee to the body.

Sherdog Scores

Jenel Lausa vs. Eric Shelton

Round 1

The flyweights spend 90 seconds testing the range with strikes before Lausa shoots and completes a double-leg takedown near the fence. Lausa pushes Shelton against the fence, where the American uses a kimura sweep to escape from the bottom, then tries to take Lausa's back. Lausa blocks the back-take but winds up being tripped to the ground, where Shelton triangles his legs and works to advance position. Lausa uses an underhook to power back to his feet, and the 125ers reset on the feet with 1:20 on the clock. Shelton explodes forward with a double-leg from a mile out, but Lausa can't keep his footing and succumbs to the late takedown. Lausa throws elbows from the bottom, while Shelton pops him with a few right hands from the top, then a couple to the body before the horn.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Shelton
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Shelton
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Shelton

Round 2

Shelton rushes in behind a right hand and shoots for an early takedown, planting Lausa on his seat at the base of the fence. Shelton briefly considers a guillotine, then moves to try and take Lausa's back as they battle for position on the floor. Lausa blocks the back-take again, so Shelton gets to work from side control and starts unloading with some heavy punches. Shelton passes to full mount and slams Lausa with vicious elbow strikes before the Filipino is able to buck him off. Lausa tries a guillotine as he drops back to guard, but Shelton quickly pops his head free and resumes his ground-and-pound attack from Lausa's closed guard. Shelton postures up and plants an elbow on Lausa's jaw, followed by several punches. Lausa strikes back with a few shots from the bottom, but it's Shelton finishing the round on top.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Shelton
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Shelton
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Shelton

Round 3

Shelton presses out from the center, backing up Lausa to the fence, and the American clubs Lausa with a slick counter right hand to interrupt an uppercut from the Filipino. Ninety seconds in, "Showtime" changes levels and plants Lausa on the ground once again. Lausa holds Shelton in guard and tries to wrap up from underneath, but Shelton has enough space to stay busy with short, hard punches to the body. Lausa grabs the fence as he tries to stand and gets a verbal warning from referee Steve Perceval. Halfway through the round, Shelton is starting to turn up the volume on his ground-and-pound, while Lausa just looks to be hanging on, trying to weather the storm. Shelton continues to punch through Lausa's open guard in the final 90 seconds, mixing up his right hands to the body and head. Shelton allows Lausa to stand in the final 15 seconds; Lausa comes forward, looking for the homerun shot, but instead he gets a right hand and a last-second knee from Shelton.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Shelton (30-27 Shelton)
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Shelton (30-27 Shelton)

Alex Chambers vs. Nadia Kassem

Round 1

Chambers declines a touch of gloves and takes the center of the cage, pushing outward on the southpaw Kassem, who works from a wide stance. "Astro Girl" catches a kick from Kassem and pushes her backward to the fence, where Chambers switches to a bodylock. Kassem breaks away and socks Chambers with a left hand to the grill on the way out. Chambers comes straight back to clinch again, and now it's the veteran's turn to pop Kassem with a left hand. Chambers completes her first takedown with 3:15 remaining in the round, now postures up in Kassem's full guard and drops a few punches on the Australian Top Team fighter's face. Kassem drops back to try a heel hook, loses her grip, then reattaches herself to Chamber's left leg and tries it again. Chambers looks to be in danger for a moment, but Kassem abandons the sub and sits up to pop Chambers in the face with a pair of hard lefts. Chambers reclaims top position with 90 seconds left in the opening round and flattens out Kassem, leaning across her body to land punches to the ribs. Chambers closes out the round with a few elbows to the face of Kassem.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Chambers
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Chambers
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Chambers

Round 2

Chambers absorbs a couple punches as she presses forward, but "Astro Girl" secures another early takedown, planting Kassem at the base of the fence. Kassem is quicker to stand this time, but Chambers catches her in a standing arm-triangle choke. Kassem breaks out and drills Chambers with a knee to the gut; Chambers comes straight back to the clinch, trapping Kassem against the wall with double underhooks. Chambers releases with a right hand on the break, and the fighters are back to striking with 3:00 on the clock. Kassem puts a pair of punches on Chambers, then a left high kick, but Chambers changes levels to hit her third takedown of the bout. Kassem throws up a triangle but can't secure it as Chambers postures up. Now, Kassem gets hold of Chambers' left arm and pulls it across, but still Chambers won't tap. With Chambers still locked in the triangle, Kassem softens up the veteran with punches and elbows before switching to a triangle-armbar. Chambers finally escapes the triangle, steps over the top, but Kassem uses the still-trapped arm to sweep into top position. Chambers rolls to her knees, and Kassem tries to take the back but runs out of time.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-8 Kassem
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-8 Kassem
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-8 Kassem

Round 3

Kassem fends off Chambers' first takedown attempt of the final round, backs up the veteran with a few low kicks and then leans over to shake out her arms. Chambers -- red-faced and breathing with her mouth wide open -- steps forward to deliver a low kick of her own. Kassem mocks the strike, raising her arms high in the air and inviting Chambers to strike some more. Instead, Chambers charges forward, clinches Kassem on the fence and trips her to the floor. The pace slows on the ground, with Kassem entangling Chambers in guard, and Chambers perhaps looking to take a breather in top position. When Kassem begins to fish for a triangle, Chambers stands up, adjusts her position and comes back to the newcomer's guard. Kassem tries another heel hook, can't get the tap but uses the sub attempt to sweep to top position. Chambers powers back to her feet and pins Kassem against the fence with an underhook. Kassem shoves her away and blasts Chambers with a left high kick, then follows up with a knee to the gut. Kassem goes to the body with a round kick, then slugs Chambers with a left hand and finishes the fight popping "Astro Girl" with short right hands on the fence.

Damien Brown vs. Frank Camacho

Round 1

Brown slips the first punch from Camacho and hits the Guamanian back with a counter right hand. Camacho catches Brown ducking inside and hits him with a two-piece, but the Australian gets hold of a double-leg and works for a takedown at the fence. Camacho stuffs the shot and reverses, trapping Brown on the wall, where "The Crank" gets to work with short punches to the body. Brown spins him around and goes back to the double-leg, but Camacho makes him pay with elbows to the side of the head. Brown finally completes the takedown, can't keep Camacho on the ground; "Beatdown" slams him back to the floor, but again Camacho climbs straight back to his feet. Camacho gets a takedown of his own with two minutes on the clock, passes straight to side control, but Brown gets hold of a leg and drives forward, getting back up and pushing Camacho to the wall. Brown is sporting some damage around his right eye as he trips Camacho to the ground again and jumps on his back. Camacho defends a dangerous rear-naked choke attempt by peeling away Brown's hands. Brown nearly secures the choke again in the final 10 seconds, but Camacho rides it out and is saved by the bell.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Brown
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Brown
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Camacho

Round 2

Camacho pops Brown with a few jabs as the second round begins, then takes a standing elbow from the Australian in return. Camacho backs up Brown to the fence with a push kick to the body, but Brown comes back with a right hook as he steps back toward the center. It looks like Brown may have taken a finger to the eye in the exchange, but referee John Sharp doesn't pause the fight. Camacho puts another combination on Brown, then denies a single-leg attempt and socks the Aussie with a hard right cross. Camacho sticks a nice jab that leaves Brown swinging a big overhand right at thin air. Brown begins to land some leg kicks, but Camacho slugs him with another nasty right. Brown is getting outboxed as they fight around the edge of the cage, but aside from his damaged left eye, he doesn't seem to be showing much wear from Camacho's strikes. The fighters tie up on the wall with over-unders, then Camacho hits Brown with an elbow as they separate inside the final minute. Camacho shows great head movement as he slips an assault from Brown, then rocks the Australian's head with a counter right.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Camacho
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Camacho
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Camacho

Round 3

Brown strikes first with a standing elbow as he steps into the pocket, then forces Camacho backward with a big right hand, followed by a one-two. Camacho keeps coming forward, walking into another right hand before feeding Brown a jab. Brown is connecting at a much better clip this round, though he's still being backed up to the fence by Camacho's constant forward pressure. Camacho snaps back Brown's head with a right hand, follows with a jab as they hit the midway point of the final frame. Brown grins as he eats another double jab from Camacho, who has clearly slowed down but just keeps walking forward. Brown comes over the top with a nice left hand. The fighters are going punch-for-punch as they fight along the fence, but with 70 seconds left, Camacho lands a particularly hard shot that has Brown covering up momentarily. The bloody-faced Brown grabs for a leg, gets shoved away and catches Camacho with an uppercut. Camacho grins and gives Brown a nod, and the lightweights spend the final 10 seconds in the pocket, just slamming one another's head with punches.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Camacho (29-28 Camacho)
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Camacho (29-28 Camacho)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Camacho (30-27 Camacho)

Rashad Coulter vs. Tai Tuivasa

Round 1

Coulter quickly clinches and pushes Tuivasa against the fence, but the Australian spins him around and separates. Tuivasa barely misses with a pair of heavy punches, and he winds up holding Coulter on the cage again. Coulter pushes him away, comes forward to try another takedown and is helped out by Tuivasa, who basically pulls the Texan on top of him. Tuivasa escapes to his feet, now two minutes into the round, and the heavyweights resume striking in the center of the cage. Tuivasa chops at Coulter's lead leg but pulls up short on more punches as Coulter stays just out of range. Tuivasa steps inside with a kick to the body, then slams Coulter with an uppercut and a body shot before pinning him to the wall. Tuivasa backs up to throw punches, but it allows Coulter to escape to the center of the cage. Tuivasa buckles the left leg of Coulter, who tries to scramble back to his feet and is greeted by a flying knee from the Australian newcomer. Coulter is out cold before he hits the ground, and referee John Sharp rushes in to save him from further damage.

The Official Result

Tai Tuivasa def. Rashad Coulter via KO (Flying Knee) R1 4:35

Will Brooks vs. Nik Lentz

Round 1

The lightweights tie up early, and Lentz gets in a knee to the body before Brooks shoves him away with a left hand on the split. Brooks sticks his left hand in Lentz's face and steps inside to plunge a right hand down the center. Brooks slides backward as Lentz presses forward, and now "Ill Will" blasts Lentz with a chopping leg kick. Lentz's nose is already bloodied as Brooks changes levels and drives him to the floor in the center of the cage. Lentz grabs a guillotine as he goes to the ground, but Brooks flips over the top and frees himself from the choke as the fighters scramble back to their feet. Lentz sticks a right hand down the middle, gets a right hook in return from Brooks, who has a takedown attempt stuffed by "The Carny" as they enter the final two minutes of round one. Brooks pops Lentz with a jab, backs up with hands low, then clinches up when Lentz tries to come forward and attack. Lentz breaks free, comes back to initiate a clinch of his own and winds up with a rear waistlock, holding Brooks against the wall.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Lentz
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Brooks
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Brooks

Round 2

Brooks sprints across the cage to meet Lentz as round two begins, hands still low as he looks to bait "The Carny" into exchanges. Lentz eats a jab and a hard uppercut as he steps forward to land a low kick, then one to Brooks' midsection. Brooks puts Lentz on the fence with a brief clinch, then backs up, ducking and weaving to dodge a combination. Brooks continues to make Lentz miss with good head movement and footwork. Brooks clinches and hits a bodylock takedown, but Lentz is waiting with another arm-in guillotine. This time, when Brooks tries to roll over the top, Lentz keeps him locked in the choke. Lentz uses the momentum to roll to full mount, forcing Brooks to tap out almost instantly.

The Official Result

Nik Lentz def. Will Brooks via Submission (Guillotine Choke) R2 2:05

Ryan Benoit vs. Ashkan Mokhtarian

Round 1

Benoit takes the center of the cage and follows as the southpaw Mokhtarian hops around the outside. Neither flyweight connects with a strike for the first 50 seconds, and then Mokhtarian uncorks an overhand left that puts Benoit on his back foot. Mokhtarian rushes his opponent against the fence, holds him there for a few seconds and releases to land another overhand left. The fighters reset -- Benoit in the middle, Mokhtarian jumping around the perimeter -- and now Mokhtarian begins to land some inside leg kicks. Benoit raises his arms in frustration as Mokhtarian continues to circle the outside, waiting for "Baby Face" to attack. When Benoit does come forward with strikes, Mokhtarian jumps out of the way, leading to a stalemate in the second half of the round. Benoit gets in his best punch of the round just before the horn, a left hook that connects right on Mokhtarian's jaw.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Mokhtarian
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Mokhtarian
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10

Round 2

Benoit finds the chin of Mokhtarian again in the early moments of round two, but Mokhtarian quickly reclaims some ground with another thumping left hand. Benoit barely gets a glove up to block a head kick, so Mokhtarian goes low and gives the Texan's left knee a healthy chop. Now it's Mokhtarian in the center of the cage, with Benoit moving around the outside in a reversal of the opening round. Benoit switches to the southpaw stance, but it doesn't stop Mokhtarian from delivering another thudding left hand. Benoit chases after Mokhtarian, who turns his back and runs, then resets and resumes his hopping around the outside. Mokhtarian's hometown crowd doesn't appreciate the strategy, booing "The Assassin" in the final minute. Again, Benoit does his best work in the closing seconds, trapping Mokhtarian on the fence with an underhook to deliver a quick flurry of left hands.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Benoit
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Benoit
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Benoit

Round 3

Benoit works from the center of the cage once again, switching stances as he looks to counter Mokhtarian's big left hands. One combination bloodies the nose of Mokhtarian, who barely gets his mitts up to block a Benoit high kick. The boo birds make themselves known again as Mokhtarian resumes his strategy of jumping around the outside. Mokhtarian lands and overhand left, then leans down to load up on the punch again. This time, Benoit is ready and launches a right high kick that lands clean to Mokhtarian's unprotected head. Mokhtarian hits the ground face-first and takes an additional punch to the face before referee Steve Perceval can dive in to save him.

The Official Result

Ryan Benoit def. Ashkan Mokhtarian via KO (Head Kick) R3 2:38

Alexander Volkanovski vs. Shane Young

Round 1

Volkanovski works from the center of the cage, following Young around the outside and firing a left high kick which is blocked by the taller man. Volkanovski dives in behind a lunging overhand right and grabs hold of a single-leg, then switches to a bodylock as he holds Young on the fence. Young breaks away after taking a knee to the body, and now Volkanovski begins working the Kiwi's lead leg with inside kicks. Volkanovski shoots again, this time coming in high on a double against the fence. "Alexander the Great" rips Young to the ground twice, but both times Young is able to climb straight back to his feet. Volkanovski lands a few more leg kicks, now a stiff jab and an overhand right, after which he dives for another takedown. This time, Young stays on the ground and has to fight as Volkanovski hunts for an arm-triangle choke. Volkanovski doesn't have room to secure the choke, with the fence working against him, and Young powers back to his feet with 80 seconds left. Volkanovski continues to corner Young at the fence, explode forward with a big right hand and then change levels. Young keeps his footing this time, but he absorbs a few more leg kicks from Volkanovski before the horn.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Volkanovski
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Volkanovski
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Volkanovski

Round 2

Volkanovski resumes his strategy from round one, hustling Young backward against the fence and then changing levels to work a double-leg. This time, Young stuffs the shot and pops Volkanovski with a right hand as they separate. Volkanovski actually lands one of his lunging overhand rights before grabbing Young in a bodylock and dragging him to the ground, now two minutes into the round. Young gets a knee inside to create space, climbs back to his feet, but eats an elbow from Volkanovski as they separate. Volkanovski is finding more success with his right hand as the round wears on, while Young is increasingly put on the defensive, his back to the wall as he circles the outside under pressure from the Aussie. Volkanovski lifts up Brown with a double-leg and slams him to the mat, but once again Young is able to get back to his feet with ease. Another slam from Volkanovski plants Young on the canvas a little further away from the fence, and this time Volkanovski is able to step over to full mount. Young gets a knee inside to push the shorter fighter back to half guard, and the Kiwi gets back to his feet just before time expires.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Volkanovski
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Volkanovski
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Volkanovski

Round 3

Young takes the center of the cage and goes on his front foot as the final round begins, but he soon finds himself trapped against the fence, defending another Volkanovski double. Volkanovski switches to a single, now overhooks as he drives a knee into Young's body, then his face. Out of nowhere, Young drives forward and floors Volkanovski with a takedown. Volkanovski stands up with Young in a fireman's carry and dumps him to the floor, and now it's Volkanovski back on top with 2:45 left to fight. Volkanovski stands to adjust his position, comes down in side control but gets put back in Young's half guard. Posturing up, Volkanovski is able to land some heavy punches with both hands before moving back to side control. Volkanovski goes knee-on-belly, forcing Young to roll to his knees. Young climbs back to his feet with Volkanovski hanging all over him, roughing him up against the fence with short punches and knees.

Daniel Kelly vs. Elias Theodorou

Round 1

Kelly reaches out his right hand to touch gloves, but Theodorou wants none of it. "The Spartan" goes straight after Kelly's braced right knee with several inside leg kicks in the opening minute. Kelly, meanwhile, tries to chase down the Canadian and connect with a big overhand left. Kelly gets caught lunging forward and takes a kick to the body as Theodorou circles away. Theodorou lands the body kick again and then ducks, leaving Kelly swinging at air. Two minutes in, Kelly continues to chase Theodorou around the outside, occasionally clinching but unable to score any meaningful offense in the tie-up. Theodorou is going to the body with frequent kicks, but he's also been caught leaning in a few times, allowing Kelly to connect with a few heavy punches. Kelly catches Theodorou in the collar tie and lands an uppercut, but Theodorou blocks the judoka's attempt to reap his back leg.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Kelly
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Theodorou

Round 2

Kelly continues to chase Theodorou around the outside, occasionally finding a clinch and looking for a trip. "The Spartan" is wise to Kelly's throws, however, and manages to block each one. When Theodorou gets tangled up throwing punches in the pocket, Kelly sees his opening to sweep the Canadian's leg and toss him to the ground. Theodorou is back on his feet in a hurry, but moments later, one of his inside leg kicks lands on Kelly's cup. Referee Leon Roberts pauses the fight and tells Kelly that he has five minutes to recover, but Kelly only takes a few seconds. Theodorou nearly chops out Kelly's lead leg with his first kick after they resume, then pops the Aussie with a right hand. Kelly plods forward, left hand cocked, and he finds Theodorou's chin in a brief clinch exchange. Kelly keeps leaning dangerously low on his left side, allowing Theodorou to slap his face with several high kicks. Kelly takes another kick to the face but just keeps pressing forward, trying to get hold of Theodorou and work a throw. Inside the final minute, Theodorou lands perhaps his best right high kick yet, but Kelly seems unfazed and is still marching ahead at the horn.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Theodorou

Round 3

Theodorou continues to land heavy shots on Kelly, right hands and head kicks in between his punishing low kicks. Kelly shows a tremendous beard by walking through everything that the Canadian has to offer, constantly moving forward. Kelly gets the collar tie again and pops Theodorou with a few quick uppercuts, but Theodorou seems unbothered. Kelly hits a quick takedown at the fence and jumps on Theodorou's back, where he snakes his right arm around Theodorou's neck and locks on a tight rear-naked choke. Kelly is riding too high on the back, however, and after a moment of struggle, Theodorou is able to free his neck and escape out the back door. The middleweights get back to striking with two minutes left in the bout; Theodorou is keeping Kelly at bay with body and leg kicks, but Kelly just keeps coming forward. Kelly continues to find a home for sporadic left hands, but his success has been overshadowed by the volume striking of Theodorou in this round, as well as most of the fight.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Kelly (29-28 Theodorou)
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Theodorou (29-28 Theodorou)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Theodorou (30-27 Theodorou)

Jake Matthews vs. Bojan Velickovic

Round 1

Matthews latches on to a single-leg in the first 30 seconds and runs Velickovic against the fence, working for an early takedown. Velickovic defends the shot and makes Matthews pay with some elbows to the side of the head. Matthews switches to a double but gets underhooked by Velickovic, breaking up the shot. Back to the single goes Matthews, who is still absorbing some hard elbows to the side of the head as he digs for the takedown. Halfway through the round, Matthews still has Velickovic pinned to the fence, alternating between a single- and double-leg, and occasionally an underhook. Velickovic just keeps his base wide up against the fence while punishing "The Celtic Kid" with elbows and punches. Matthews finally completes his takedown with 70 seconds on the clock, tries to mount but has to bail when Velickovic threatens with a heel hook. Velickovic catches the standing Matthews with a thudding upkick that lands heel-to-face. Velickovic gets back to his feet in the final seconds and finishes the round defending another Matthews shot.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Velickovic
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Velickovic
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Velickovic

Round 2

Velickovic catches the incoming Matthews with a switch knee, and when "The Celtic Kid" comes shooting in again, Velickovic is waiting with a guillotine. Velickovic rolls Matthews to the ground and tries to finish the one-armed guillotine from full mount, but Matthews pops his head out of the dangerous spot. Velickovic is still in mount, however, and now Matthews rolls over, giving up his back to the larger man. Velickovic has both hooks in and more than three minutes left to work in the dominant position. He pulls Matthews backward and begins working for a rear-naked choke, but Matthews uses two-on-one hand fighting to disrupt the sub attempt. Matthews shakes one hook, and Velickovic seems to consider a twister before climbing on Matthews' back again. Suddenly, Matthews escapes out the back door, and now the fighters scramble back to their feet with just over a minute to go in the round. Matthews comes over the top with a right hand that slows down Velickovic's attacks, and the Aussie adds a left hook in the closing seconds.

Sherdog Scores

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Velickovic

Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Velickovic

Round 3

Matthews ups his aggression at the start of the final frame, charging forward with overhand rights for Velickovic, who answers with a leg kick. Matthews hits a powerful double-leg in the center of the cage and lands in Velickovic's guard, trying to establish position as Velickovic lands open-palm strike to the sides of the Aussie's head. Velickovic escapes to his feet and hits a double-leg of his own, this time at the base of the fence. "Serbian Steel" attaches himself to Matthews' back and stays locked on with both hooks in as Matthews powers up to his feet. Matthews kicks up his right leg, shakes one of Velickovic's hooks and sends the Elevation Fight Team member tumbling over the top. Now it's Matthews in top position with 90 seconds left to fight. He throws short left hands from Velickovic's half guard until Velickovic gets hold of the left arm and sits up to threaten with a kimura. Velickovic goes to his knees, tries to shake Matthews off his back in the same manner Matthews did to him, but Matthews stays locked on. Velickovic creates another scramble, and this time he comes out on top. Matthews sweeps right back, though, and it's the Aussie who finishes the fight on top.

Tim Means vs. Belal Muhammad

Round 1

Both welterweights come out swinging heavy punches, the southpaw Means on his front foot, trying to back up Muhammad to the fence. Muhammad is the quicker man, constantly flashing the jab in Means' face, dipping in and out of the pocket. Means settles into a more measured pace, picking his shots and landing long, straight punches when he corners Muhammad near the fence. Muhammad is landing a variety of punches midway through the round, mixing his jabs with uppercuts and lead left hooks. Means lands a nice leg kick, but Muhammad cracks him right back with a right hook, then two hard left hooks right after. Muhammad tries a takedown inside the final minute, can't get it, then thwarts Means' attempt for a takedown of his own. Muhammad lands another nice left hook in the last 30 seconds but whiffs on a spinning backfist.

Muhammad shoots into a guillotine attempt, but Means quickly loses the choke as Muhammad passes to side control. Muhammad briefly gets to mount, but the lanky Means gets a knee inside, then kicks Muhammad away and gets back to his feet. Means looks to keep the speedy Muhammad at bay with push kicks and long jabs, but Muhammad is still having success with his own jabs. Means' outside leg kicks are starting to show on Muhammad's knee, chopping the Chicagoan to the ground with one hard kick that catches Muhammad off balance. Means has a left high kick blocked, so he punishes Muhammad with two more kicks to the left knee. Muhammad, now bleeding from a small cut on his left cheek, gets denied on a takedown attempt as they enter the final 60 seconds of the round. Muhammad digs into the body of Means with a nice left hand just before the end of the round.

Muhammad lands an inside leg kick, and again Means gives him back an even harder low kick, this one spinning Muhammad around in place. Muhammad loses a contact lens during an exchange, and referee Steve Perceval pauses the action so that he can replace it. Means catches a low kick and tries to shoot for a takedown, but Muhammad easily shuts down the double-leg attempt. Muhammad rocks the head of Means with a pair of hooks, now sticks a jab and blocks a high kick from the 6-foot-2 welterweight. Muhammad appears to gives Means an accidental poke in the right eye, then asks if he's OK; Means says he is, and they fight on. Muhammad shoots for a takedown of his own, gets shut down by Means as they hit the fence. Down to the final 90 seconds, Muhammad is coming on strong late in the fight, tagging Means with a clean one-two in the center of the cage. Muhammad lands a right hook, slips a return punch from Means and comes back to pop the "Dirty Bird" with a jab. Both welterweights are throwing hands in the final 10 seconds, but it's Muhammad who gets the last word with a spinning backfist.

Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Bec Rawlings

Round 1

Rawlings works from the center of the cage and presses the action on Clark, who's on her back foot early, circling clockwise around the outside. Clark lands a leg kick, but Rawlings catches the next one and converts it for a takedown inside the first 90 seconds of the bout. Rawlings postures up to land some ground-and-pound while she works to pass Clark's guard. Two minutes in, Clark sweeps to top position and winds up in Rawlings' open guard, and now it's "Jessy Jess" posturing up to land some short punches. Rawlings throws up an armbar, goes belly down, but Clark steps over the top and escapes, simultaneously passing to half guard. Clark uses head-and-arm control to pass to side control, but now she stands up and allows Rawlings to do the same. Rawlings presses forward and plants a pair of hooks on Clark, but the UFC newcomer snipes back with a right hook of her own.

Round 2

Clark comes out of the gate fast in the second frame, splitting the mitts of Rawlings with a few sharp right hands in the opening minute. Rawlings slows the pace with a clinch on the fence, but Clark spins her around with over-unders and starts working for an inside trip. Clark lands a knee to the midsection before Rawlings spins her around again, the flyweights taking turns on the outside position, both fishing for a takedown. Rawlings finally breaks the clinch, but when she marches forward on Clark, "Jessy Jess" is waiting with a blistering right hand. Rawlings eats another hard punch as she backs up, and now she's taken down by Clark about a foot away from the fence. Clark frames up an arm-triangle choke and bears down, looking to finish but having trouble doing so with her left leg trapped in Rawlings' deep half guard. Clark can't free the leg to finish the choke, so she mounts Rawlings and drops short, stapling elbows on her face in the final 30 seconds.

Clark goes on her back foot, looking to counter, but she eats a few hard right hands as Rawlings plods forward. Clark chops at the inside of Rawlings' heavy lead leg, now comes over the top with a straight right hand. Rawlings connects with a one-two, backs Clark up with a jab, but Clark comes back to rock the head of "Rowdy" with a clean left straight. Clark mixes things up with a kick to the body, now another to Rawlings' already bruised left leg. Rawlings walks foward with her hands low and is made to pay as Clark comes over her guard with a right hand. Clark tries a clinch and hip toss, but Rawlings keeps her balance and Clark instead pushes her against the fence. Rawlings spins her around with an underhook, now tosses Clark to the floor with 80 seconds on the clock. Clark looks exhausted as she sits up against the fence, with Rawlings trying to hold her down. Clark powers back to her feet with 50 seconds left, now traps Rawlings on the fence and hits her with some knees to the thighs. Fabricio Werdum vs. Marcin Tybura

Round 1

Referee Leon Roberts is the third man in the cage for tonight's heavyweight main event. Both men open with low kicks, then Tybura has to get his hands up to block a right high kick from the former champion. Werdum sticks a right hand down the center, then fires two more kicks toward Tybura's head. A body kick lands for Werdum, prompting Tybura to briefly switch to the southpaw stance. Suddenly, the measured Werdum explodes forward with a heavy combination, then pulls down Tybura's head in the Thai clinch to deliver a knee. Tybura continues to flip between orthodox and southpaw stances, but Werdum is still getting the better of the striking exchanges with low kicks, body kicks and right hands. Werdum dives on a single-leg, switches to a standing rear waistlock and tries to trip Tybura to the floor. Tybura puts his right side against the fence and fights Werdum's hands, resisting the takedown until the final 20 seconds, when Werdum trips him to his knees. Tybura scrambles up and spins to take Werdum's back standing, but Werdum finishes the round threatening with a kimura.

Werdum knocks Tybura backward with a hard jab and follows with a heavy kick to the Polish fighter's midsection. The Brazilian sticks another jab, now tries to rush the leaning Tybura with a knee but gets knocked off balance and staggers backward to the other side of the cage. Tybura goes upstairs with a head kick that lands clean, but Werdum eats it and keeps coming forward. Another left high kick appears to sting Werdum, who rushes forward to try and clinch but can't get his hands on "Tybur." Two minutes left in the round as Werdum tries to trap Tybura on the fence and gets rudely shoved away. Werdum tries to pull the Thai plum and instead eats a couple uppercuts from Tybura, who has had a much stronger round two. Tybura stomps on Werdum's thigh with an oblique kick, then evades a spinning kick from "Vai Cavalo." Werdum gets in a few clinch knees in the final moments of the frame.

Round 3

Tybura digs into the breadbasket of Werdum with a front kick, but "Vai Cavalo" gives him one right back, then jumps up and finds Tybura's chin with a glancing knee. Werdum tries to land another knee as he corners Tybura against the wall but instead is tripped to the ground. Back up comes Werdum, marching forward on Tybura, who's waiting with a counter uppercut. Werdum is starting to reestablish his rhythm in the striking exchanges now, popping Tybura with jabs, mixing in leg kicks and the occasional knee to the body. Tybura continues to land oblique kicks as he works of his back foot; he dodges a spinning backfist from Werdum, but eats a pair of punches soon after. Werdum smells blood and grabs Tybura in the Thai clinch to deliver a pair of knees. The BJJ ace drops levels to try a single-leg, but he quickly abandons the shot in favor of holding Tybura on the fence. The heavyweights fight back to the center of the cage with 30 seconds on the clock, where they ride out the remainder of the round with just a few jabs.

Tybura starts the round coming forward but is soon put on his back foot by Werdum with a heavy right hand. Tybura throws a front kick aimed at the midsection of Werdum; referee Roberts steps in to pause the action, thinking it hit Werdum on the cup, but he quickly calls time in and the fight continues. Werdum changes levels and dives for a takedown, but instead winds up pinning Tybura against the wall with an underhook. Tybura gets free but succumbs to a Werdum takedown soon after, and now it's the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt in top position with more than two minutes left to work. Werdum drops a hard elbow strike on Tybura's jaw, then leans forward in the Pole's half guard and begins framing up an arm-triangle choke. Tybura has Werdum's left leg locked down in half guard, preventing Werdum from hopping off to the side and completing the choke. Werdum finally passes to side control with 45 seconds left, but he loses the choke in the process, and now Tybura explodes back to his feet. Tybura is coming on strong, catching Werdum with another left high kick, now ducking under a spinning backfist to pop Werdum with a right hand. Tybura lands the left high kick again; Werdum gets a glove up to lessen the impact of this one, but eats a right hand just behind it. Tybura gets caught leaning in, has his head pulled down in the Thai clinch and takes a knee on the chin. Down to the final 90 seconds now, and Werdum looks to have gotten a bit of a second wind as he attacks Tybura with a combo on the fence.
