UFC Fight Night 114 Attracts 859,000 Viewers to Fox Sports 1

UFC Fight Night 114 drew an audience of 859,000 to Fox Sports 1 for its main card on Saturday night, according to Nielsen figures.

The event, which took place at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, saw Sergio Pettis take a unanimous decision over Brandon Moreno in the flyweight main event. However, the card peaked at 988,000 viewers for the strawweight co-headlining clash between Alexa Grasso and Randa Markos. Grasso, a highly-touted 115-pound prospect from Mexico, edged Markos via split decision.

Meanwhile, the evening’s preliminary draw averaged 633,000 viewers on FS1. That portion of the card notably featured Dustin Ortiz’s 15 second knockout of Hector Sandoval at 115 pounds, the fastest finish in UFC flyweight history.

UFC Fight Night 114 did well going head-to-head with the ESPN broadcast of the boxing match between Vasyl Lomachenko and Miguel Marriaga, which Lomachenko won via stoppage after seven rounds. That contest drew 728,000 viewers to the Worldwide Leader.
