UFC 250 Update: Brian Kelleher Makes Quick Turnaround Against Cody Stamann

Just a little more than three weeks after his victory at UFC Fight Night 171, Brian Kelleher will return to the Octagon to face Cody Stamann at UFC 250.

BJPenn.com was first to report the pairing, which will be contested at featherweight. UFC 250 takes place on June 6 and is expected to be held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card will be headlined by a women’s featherweight title tilt between Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer.

Kelleher earned his second consecutive triumph at UFC Fight Night 171, as he knocked out previously unbeaten Contender Series Alum 3:40 into Round 2 of their May 13 encounter. The Ring of Combat veteran is 5-3 during his promotional tenure, with other notable wins against Renan Barao and Iuri Alcantara.

Stamann last appeared at UFC on ESPN 7, where he battled Yadong Song to a majority draw. The Michigan Top Team representative began his UFC career with victories four of his first five appearances, falling only to Aljamain Sterling at UFC 228.
