UFC 249 Update: Sijara Eubanks to Face Sarah Moras in Brooklyn on April 18

A women’s bantamweight tilt pitting Sijara Eubanks against Sarah Moras has been added to the UFC 249 lineup.

Newsday was first to report the booking. UFC 249 takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 18 and is headlined by a lightweight championship bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson.

After competing on “The Ultimate Fighter 26” at flyweight, struggles on the scale prompted Eubanks to move to 135 pounds. She struggled in the new division in 2019, losing a pair of decisions against Aspen Ladd and Bethe Correia to fall to 4-4 in her professional career.

Moras, meanwhile, snapped a three-bout skid with a third-round TKO triumph over Liana Jojua at UFC 242 on Sept. 7. “Cheesecake” is 3-4 during her tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion and 6-5 as a professional overall.
