Sergio Pettis vs. Kai Kara-France, Punahele Soriano vs. Oskar Piechota Added to UFC 245

Two more bouts have been added to the UFC 245 lineup, as Sergio Pettis will face Kai Kara-France at flyweight, and Punahele Soriano will meet Oskar Piechota at middleweight on Dec. 14.

The promotion confirmed the bouts to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. UFC 245 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by a welterweight championship tilt between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.

Pettis snapped a two-bout skid with a successful return to 125 pounds when he outpointed Tyson Nam at UFC Fight Night 159 in Mexico City on Sept. 21. A rising star in the division, Kara-France enters the matchup on an eight-fight winning streak, which includes three triumphs in the Octagon.

Soriano earned a UFC contract with a decision triumph against Jamie Pickett on Dana White’s Contender Series this past June; the victory improved his professional mark to 6-0. Piechota will look to snap a two-bout skid after falling to Rodolfo Vieira and Gerald Meerschaert in his last two Octagon appearances.
