Sergio Pettis, Ricky Bandejas Expected to Meet at Bellator’s Return on July 24

Combate was first to report the booking. The event, which could be named Bellator 241, was previously reported to be set for Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The promotion has not formally announced its plans for a return.
Pettis competed at both 125 and 135 pounds during a 14-bout stint in the UFC. The 26-year-old Roufusport product debuted with the California-based promotion at Bellator 238, where he submitted Alfred Khashakyan in the first round on Jan. 25.
Bandejas, meanwhile, rose to prominence following a first-round knockout of SBG Ireland prospect James Gallagher in August 2018. The 28-year-old Catone MMA product has gone 2-2 in Bellator competition since then, including a second-round knockout of Frans Mlambo in his most recent appearance on Feb. 22.
