An Abu Dhabi Combat Combat Club gold medalist and a five time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion, Vieira is unbeaten is seven professional MMA outings thus far. The 30-year-old Brazilian has opened his UFC tenure with back-to-back submission wins over Oskar Piechota and Saparbek Safarov.
Perez, meanwhile, is 2-3 in the Octagon since making his debut in December 2017. Most recently, the 30-year-old Sao Paulo, Brazil, native dropped a unanimous verdict to Wellington Turman at UFC Fight Night 164 this past November.
