Wei Bin Li vs. Yi Jie Hao

Round 1

Hao scores quickly with a left hook to counter Li's jab, then tackles him to the mat with a quick double-leg takedown. Hao works for a guillotine quickly, shifting his hips up trying to get an angle. He's taking his time to secure the choke, but Li powers through it and gets to half guard, breaks Hao's grip, then moves straight into full mount. Hao posts on Li's face from high mount, measuring him for clean, hard punches. His fellow 18-year-old thrashes beneath him, trying to buck and roll, but the Shunyuan Fight Club fighter remains heavy on top. Just past the halfway mark of the round, Li spins for an armbar. He pulls Hao's grip apart and loses the arm for a second, but manages to quickly recover. When he recovers, he cranks the armbar hard and gets the immediate tap. Wei Bin Li advances to the finals of One FC's Beijing flyweight tournament.

Liu Xu vs. Wang Wei

Round 1

The stockier Wei shoots almost immediately and dumps Xu against the cage, but Xu holds a guillotine. He's got a decent squeeze for a second, but Wei begins to extricate himself. For whatever reason, an official at ringside rings the bell as though the fight is over. Fortunately, for fighters realize it's not and don't break concentration. Wei swims through Xu's guard, landing overhand ground-and-pound shots as he moves to half guard. Short left elbows register for Wei, but Xu replaces his guard. Patient ground-and-pound for Wei, moving into side control after another strong series of punches and elbows and looking to achieve full mount. He gets it with less than a minute ago, pounding away to set up an armbar. Wei rushes the armbar, however, and ends up on his back. He simply overhooks Xu and keeps him close til the bell.

Round 2

The superior grappling of Wei allows him to put his sanda-savvy opponent on the mat again. Xu tries to trap Wei's right arm and climb the ladder for a triangle, but Wei powers through it, passes under his legs and gets back to side control. Wei gets back to full mount and starts hammering away again, but Xu gets his feet on the cage, pushes off and escapes, winding up on his back again. Wei's right back on top, grinding away and punching from full guard. Xu lands a hard upkick un the scramble, but can't back Wei off. Wei gets back to side control and makes good use of knees to the head, cutting the left eye of Xu open while he keeps punching and elbowing away. Consistent rate of punches, hammerfists and elbows from Wei. Xu tries to explode to his feet before the bell, but he's hopelessly grounded against Wei. Kai Wen Li vs. Nan Nan He

Round 1

He is the aggressor, walking Li down and exploding with two-handed hooks. When Li starts to feel comfortable on the feet, he unloads a spinning back fist, but He times it, ducks under and shoots in. He gets to Li's waist, but Li shows strong wrestling in digging for an underhook and shrugging He off, sneaking a clinch elbow in on the exit. He winds up with another massive overhand and lets go seven more punches behind it, swarming on Li. Li is undaunted by He's heavy swinging, covering up and drilling him with a sharp, left-hook counter that puts He on his face. Li is all over him, smashing his unconscious foe with right hands until referee Olivier Coste intervenes. With the sudden knockout, Kai Wen Li advances to the One FC featherweight tournament final.

Ya Wei Wang vs. Li Gen

Round 1

Gen attempts a right body kick less than 10 seconds in and gets tripped to the mat by Wang, who gets right to work with heavy ground-and-pound. Wang tries to move hastily into side control, so Gen reaches through his legs and tries to sweep him from deep half guard. Unfortunately for Gen, this is One FC, so Wang stands up and soccer kicks him square in the face, flopping him to his back. The physically potent Wang is all over Gen, who is scrambling for a single-leg takedown. He can't get it, so the Beijing local goes back to attempting a half guard sweep. Wang is just as punishing this time, ripping Gen with torrents of left and right hands while “Machine Gun” feebly digs for a half guard sweep. Gen is taking enormous punishment underneath Wang's punches and elbows. Referee Yuji Shimada is letting Gen stay in the fight, but he's offering nothing, frozen in deep half guard while Wang wallops him time after time. Finally, a half dozen left elbows for Wang bring the beatdown to the end. Ya Wei Wang will meet Kai Wen Li in the One FC Beijing featherweight tournament final.

Ariel Sexton vs. Anvar Alizhanov

Round 1

Alizhanov lands an overhand right off the first kick Sexton throws and trips him to the mat, but the veteran Sexton sweeps him from half guard and takes side control on top. Alizhanov scrambles up, but Sexton has his arm trapped and is riding his leg. Naturally, “Tarzan” takes the opportunity to dive onto Alizhanov's back, lock in a body triangle and start attacking for a rear-naked choke. Alizhanov rolls back and forth, trying to break the body triangle to scramble free, but Sexton shows balance and technique, first using a full nelson to control the Dagestani, then moving into full mount. Sexton lands with both hands now, punishing the AKA Thailand fighter. Alizhanov turns over and in the scramble, the Costa Rican locks in a reverse triangle. Alizhanov is trapped and frozen on the mat, so Sexton grabs his left arm and torques it in an ad hoc keylock, without the arm figure foured. The creative submission with the extra elbow pressure earns a quick tap from Alizhanov.

Michal Pasternak vs. Rafael Silva

Round 1

Silva is coiled up tight, loading an overhand right. He stalks Pasternak, unloads the punch and runs into the clinch, but Pasternak defends well and nearly gets Silva's back in the scramble. Silva bails out, turns around and grabs a guillotine, but Pasternak is in no real danger and passes to side control with ease. Pasternak tries to step over Silva's left arm into a top crucifix position, but can't get there. However, he lands a bevy of knees to the head from side control. Silva tries to escape to his feet and nearly gives up his back again, so he bails and allows Pasternak to remain on top. The undefeated Pole gets to half guard, then full mount with just over a minute to go in the opening frame. Silva clings to Pasternak's waist, but Pasternak lands breaks his grip and rains down punches and elbow. Sharp elbows coming down from Pasternak as referee Yuji Shimada looks on, but Silva does a good job blocking them. Pasternak landing more punches around Silva's guard now, however, then a hard elbow to the mouth. Finally, with just three seconds to go and taking a beating, Silva hits the TK Scissors to escape full mount, then the bell rings.

Round 2

Pasternak stalks Silva for the opening moments until the Portuguese veteran shoots a single-leg and dumps Pasternak on the mat. The Pole tries to scramble back to his feet but winds up snagged in an arm-in guillotine which Silva jumps. It's tight, but the smaller, muscular Silva doesn't have the angle. He takes his time to adjust, then jump guard again, but Pasternak is cool under pressure and pops his head out, settling in half guard on top. He tries to pin Silva's right arm with his left leg despite still being in half guard, landing left hands all the while. Silva manages to replace guard just past the halfway mark of the bout. Pasternak chips away with short shots until Silva throws up an armbar. Pasternak defends, then rains down heavy hammerfists that allow Silva the chance to scramble up. Once again, the powerful Portuguese fighter grabs a guillotine and rolls Pasternak to the canvas. He tries to take the back but goes over the top on Pasternak, winding up against the fence with the Pole on top. Pasternak punches away until the bell.

Round 3

In the first exchange, Pasternak walks into a short right from Silva and dives onto a single-leg takedown after appearing to fall awkwardly on his left leg. Silva initially defends, but Pasternak pushes through and winds up on top in side control again. Pasternak again threatens with the crucifix while throwing knees to the head from side mount. Pasternak passes into full mount with three minutes left in the bout and starts targeting Silva's right arm for a keylock. Silva escapes and just tries to cling to Pasternak to stop his punching, but it's to no avail. Pasternak keeps chipping away on top, but with just under a minute to go, Yuji Shimada inexplicably stands the dominant fighter up from full mount. The Polish fighter is ginger on his left knee upon the stand-up, likely from the initial exchange of the round. Silva rips him with a leg kick to the knee, but Pasternak powers through another takedown, taking side control and pounding Silva to the final bell. Wei Bin Li vs. Wang Wei

Round 1

Wei flicks a left head kick to start the featherweight tournament final, but as he tries to get a quick groove standing, Li pops him with a right cross that stumbles him, then a right cross moments later. Wei resets, but Li hits him with another rush of punches, then a left head kick which is barely blocked. Li starting to apply pressure, so Wei clinches up. They exchange knees inside and one of Li's attacks hits Wei in the groin, so referee Olivier Coste calls for a pause. Wei takes but a minute, and the fight is back up and running. Li walks Wei back to the cage with confident striking, then rips him with a left cross-right hook and a flurry behind it, knocking him to the mat and swarming his man. Wei isn't seriously hurt and manages to get to his feet, but Li is starting to style on him standing. Li lands another hard right and looks to step up his attack with kicks, but he gets overconfident and walks into a crushing, right-handed counterpunch from Wei that drops him briefly, forcing the Chongqing native to roll for a takedown. Wei hammerfists away, but Li gets his wits about him quickly and regains his feet. Despite the misstep, Li continues pressuring Wei back to the cage and unloading punches. They clinch again and this time, Wei lands a knee to the groin of Li, prompting a role reversal and very brief respite. They resume and Li lands a right roundhouse kick to the ribs before the bell.

Round 2

Li stalks Wei right back to the cage again, unloading with straight punches. Two left kicks to the body register for Li, who is clearly fresher than the heavy-breathing Wei. Another pair of crosses lands for Li and he forces Wei to his back, where he kicks his legs until Wei pops back up. A left roundhouse kick upstairs by Li is blocked, so he jams a teep into Wei's stomach, then one into his face, then another to the stomach. Li is really putting the full arsenal together on Wei now, who is sporting a bloody nose. After working him with kicks upstairs and to the body with the left leg, Li starts crushing Wei's lead leg with right low kicks. More kicks land for Li. Wei is becoming mere target practice for the increasingly dominant Li, but fortunately, the bell ends the contest. Round 1

The southpaw Wang feints heavily, pumping his jab and changing levels while approaching Li, but not throwing much as referee Yuji Shimada frantically pleads for action through the first 90 seconds. Wang glances with a left cross and Li touches him with a right hook. Wang jumps in with a flying knee attempt, but Wang circles and flurries, dropping him with a left hook and following with a massive flurry. Wang covers his head and gets a brief waistlock, but Li is all over him with both hands. Wang tries to fire back, but Li dings him with a left head kick and more punches. Wang lands an overhand right to back Li off, then a hard knee. Li takes a deep breath after 45 seconds of teeing off on Wang. After getting their breath, the featherweights look to engage again, but one of Wang's fingers catches Li in the eye. Yuij Shimada sees the foul and calls for time with a minute left to go in the round. Wang lands a lead left cross, but Wang hits him with a right hand at the same time. Li loads up on a spinning back fist which Wang ducks under, then just narrowly misses his target with a wild soccer kick at the bell.

Round 2

Wang is on the attack to start the second frame, landing another good lead left hand. However, he keeps stalking forward, straight into another right hook from Li. Li continues to circle away from Wang's power, keeping his back off of the fence while looking for counter opportunities. A Li head kick is blocked, but when Wang moves inside, Li lands a clean knee. Wang is still pressing forward, but he can't land much and Li continues picking him off with a right-handed counters. Li lands another good one at the halfway mark of the round, stopping Wang's forward pressure for a moment. With 90 seconds to go, Li starts flashing his jab and working his hands more actively, though Wang is covering high and avoiding any real damage. Wang shoots a double, Li sprawls soundly and returns the fight to the feet. Wang loads up on a few left hands, but can't hit his 19-year-old opponent, who keeps smoothly striking on the outside until the final bell. Adrian Pang vs. Vincent Latoel

Round 1

Pang digs his heels into the middle of the canvas with a low, wide stance before cracking Latoel with an outside low kick. Moments later, the Dutchman responds with one of his own. Pang kicks back, then lands a left hook as Latoel kicks at him with his hands down. Latoel kicks again from the outside and eats a jab. Latoel continues eating Pang's left hand, up until a right hook cracks him. Latoel stumbles back a bit and Pang applies pressure, doubling his right hand, landing it, then taking Latoel down at the halfway point of the round. Latoel overhooks Pang's left arm and tries to tie him up, but Pang slogs through it, throwing hammerfists and elbows. Two hard left elbows land for “The Hunter.” Latoel tries to return fire from his back, but it just allows to Pang to attack him more effectively. Pang rips off another series of hard right hands before the bell.

Round 2

For the first minute of the second stanza, the fighters mostly whiff on leg kicks until Latoel lands a few goodies on Pang's lead leg. Pang, characteristically cut open and bleeding despite doing more damage, is sliding his lead foot forward, getting Latoel to the fence and whacking him with hooks. Latoel eats the punches, smiling all the way and responding with leg kicks, up until “The Hunter” shoots, elevates and dumps him on the mat. Pang is in half guard, chopping away with short left elbows. Latoel tries to reach through Pang's legs and perhaps look for deep half guard, so Pang digs ground-and-pound into his ribs, then looks for a guillotine. Latoel pops his head out and for whatever reason, referee Olivier Coste stands the lightweights up. They trade low kicks and Pang lands a hard right hand. Latoel tries to kick him again, so Pang throws the same punch and crushes him. Latoel hits the deck, but is able to get his wits about him despite folding on top of himself during the knockdown, but winds up in a guillotine attempt. Pang pulls guard, but when he feels Latoel slipping out, he sits up and tries to look for an anaconda choke before the round ends.

Round 3

Pang exchanges a few punches with Latoel, but as soon as Latoel looks to kick, the Pang shoots and takes him down against the fence. The Papua New Guinea native postures up on top, pounding away from full guard, but he can't get very far, as Olivier Coste puts them back on the feet before long. They exchange again and now, Latoel surprises Pang with a takedown attempt of his own. It's a disaster, hwoever, as Pang gets a hold of another guillotine, locks it up and Latoel looks like he's spent. The Dutchman taps, and this one is a wrap.

Yadong Song vs. Xian Ji

Round 1

Ji closes the distance behind his jab and lobs a head kick that Song blocks. Ji keeps pressuring his fellow countryman on the feet, dropping him with a left hook and then locking up a guillotine. He doesn't have it, however, and as Song tries to move through his guard into mount, Ji lets it go and jumps back to his feet. Two swarming left hooks for Ji register, allowing him passage into the clinch. Song breaks free, but eats a wild right hand from Ji on the break. Song hits Ji with a hard right, then a jab, but can't stop the constant forward pressure from Ji. Three massive hooks from Ji miss, but “The Handsome Executioner” finds his spot with a hard body kick. Song lands a good left hand, but like usual, it just makes Ji bite down on his mouthguard and respond with heavy fire. Song lands another good right, but Ji spins him around with another flailing shot. Wild, fun round.

Round 2

Ji whips an overhand right to start the round, just touching Song. Song retaliates by running his man down and launching a Superman punch. Ji continues to take headlong runs at “The Terminator” with big, swiping hooks, but they're less frequent now and Song is doing a better job at picking him off with the jab. Two right crosses land for Ji, but he walks into two right hands from Song, then a hard knee. Ji is starting to look more fatigued than Song, but is still determined. Song throws a big right hand at the same time Ji rips him with an inside low kick, tripping him up. Song tries to attack Ji again, but “The Handsome Executioner” forces him all the way back across the cage with a half dozen hard punches. Ji rocks Song and puts him on the mat, but Song scrambles into top position and controls his man. Song tries to step away, but the minute he gets up, Ji runs right into his face and hits him with another wide-swinging hook before the bell.

Round 3

Song remains more precise with his jab and right hand, yet Ji continues to score by unloading helicoptering punching. He scores with a series of right hands, then moments later, another rush of rights and a knee. Song punches back, but he just can't make the impact Ji makes with his swings. Song starting to slow now, as he bleeds from his nose and the China Top Team fighter continues to reach him with his telegraphed swings. Low kick from Ji trips Song up and he keeps pressuring with punches. Massive series of hooks, uppercuts and a head kick rock Song, whose face is now a mess as he teeters unsteadily around the cage with just over a minute left. Song looks like he's ready to go, but Ji lets him off the hook, with neither man throwing until the final five seconds, where they unload some hooks that sail wide.
